I currently have a list of cards I'm considering adding and as usual, no idea what to cut. Here's the current list of cards I am considering: twilight drover:seems like a great token generator in a pinch, plus he could possibly become a bomb if i have a lot of token gen going on already. I do think he may take too long to get going. mentor of the meek:card draw. but he's a creature so he's really easy to deal with. I'm still up in the air with him. increasing devotion:this is the token spell imo. army of the damned doesnt have anything on this card. sure you only get 15 tokens out of the card as compared to 26. BUT you get white tokens, which can exile a creature right away. plus, you can play this earlier. and well, i hate looking at my hand and seeing damned when i wish i could cast something to get me more tokens. Less of a win in top deck mode, but still helpful regardless. unburial rites:creature res. idk how i feel about it. personally, I run only 20 or so creatures in my teysa build. it may not be worth it for me.
Man, I love your deck lists! I am inspired by your Dominatrix build, and will endeavor to build my own in the near future! You explain everything so well and with great detail, which in turn gets my imagination flying all over the place. I also like tokens,Rhys the Redeemed is my favorite deck, so that is just a bonus! This deck has great synergy, and there are a lot of good cards from Innistrad and Dark Ascension that could slot into this deck for more good times. Not trying to kiss your butt or anything, but your lists are a great help to someone like myself who is new to the format, and had not been playing Magic in any form for almost 15 years. They make a great jump-off point for deck building.
Current EDH decks: RAshling the Fire Starting Pyro Pilgrim GWRhys "There were just too many" the Redeemed UBOona, Queen of the Fae, Hater of Decks UBRLord Tresserhorn and The Walking Dead
"I think that they should ban all mana producers, including land, since mana lets you do all of the most broken things in the format..."
I'll update the OP with that as soon as I get some time (I always get real busy this time of year and then slack off in about a month and have to catch up all my mtg stuff).
On the other hand the black version might seem good as it gives undying but only to humans and this narrows down the token makers quite a bit. You could probably run such a version, however it will have a hard time trying to pull off a decent combo. Only Human tokens in this build are from... there aren't any Unless you play Increasing Devotion or Thraben Doomsayer. Not much of a choice.
He gives undying to non-Humans, not humans. Plus tokens cease to exist once they leave play, so they can't come back from undying.
I've looked at a few of your decklists and notice you run a lot of combo. I imagine your playgroups know what your decks are capable of... how do you avoid getting hated off the table every time? I like combo, but people can be pretty grouchy about a combo player grabbing a win with Reveillark/Karmic Guide.

Everyone in my group uses lots of combos in their decks, nobody gets hateful over a combo win, but honestly, I rarely get to hit the infinite/table killing combos, mostly just the smaller/simpler combos.
It's really easy to "friendly up" any of my decklists to avoid "infinite" while staying competitive.
It can be disrupted by a prepared player who is able to make you shuffle your deck somehow, but Insidious Dreams is a lovely card for a combo deck. If played with Land Tax chances are you can dig for 3 land cards at the beginning of upkeep, then throw them all along with whatever else you want to trade for your combo cards into the bin. For maximum value, bin 6 cards if you can and then put Promise of Power on top of your stack of 5 tutored cards. Insidious Dreams is an instant too, so you can do it right before your turn. Seems pretty good.
Also, Blackjack, I'm curious how you'd change this deck around to replace the infinite combos. I'm attempting to do that with my Karador deck, and it's just so painful to remove the new Mikaeus because he just combos all over the place.
Hi. I'm considering building a Teysa token deck , but I have a question about your experiences with this deck. How badly does this deck do against wrath effects and the like? I'm worried about that, haha. That's basically the factor that will decide whether I build this or Ghost Council.

It does a lot better than most decks, imo (but so does Ghost Council). Everything dying is part of its normal operation. Try it out, and if you decide to go to a different Orzhov deck later, most of the money cards will still be good in the conversion.

You seem to be the top dog when it comes to Orzhov colored decks. So I'm looking for your comments on my Teysa deck. I apologize that it isn't on the MTGS boards, but I've been part of MTGvault for a LONG time, and it just seems to be where I throw my decklists.

Ok, I'm halfway over my flu now. At least I can sit up for a half hour or so without feeling like death. Man, next year I'm gettin a flu shot, this sucks.
I should note that you may want to take a look at the Ghost Council build in my sig. I've recently done lots of updates to the section on combos/tricks, and it has a lot of them that translate very well into Teysa. I maintain/update that thread a lot more than this one.
That nets you infinite mana as well as infinite ETB/Death triggers. It's fairly cheap at 8 mana with a fresh Teysa and only needs two pieces to be tutored. For me, that usually ends with another tutor for an Exsanguinate or Blood Artist or something similar. Requiem Angel and Pawn of Ulamog are my two alternatives for Teysa. Add the former WITH Teysa and you have infinite spirits to play with, too.

Rings works with Teysa's first ability, but not the second one because it's a triggered ability, not an activated one.
