@ashep01:
I found Deranged Assistant and cards like it to be too slow for what they're worth (looters too). Hasn't Grave Titan, Liliana's Reaver, and Stitcher Geralf been too slow? I cut them for lack of being too fast. Though you produce a lot of mana with mana dorks (who have the added bonus of making zombies when milled), I find that I make more mana with creatures that untap lands than mana dorks. I make a ridiculous amount of mana that way. Untapping Cabal Coffers or Gaea's Cradle is too brutal for words. Do you delve to cast Empty the Pits or do you hardcast it? I find Empty the Pits and Army of the Damned to be more winmore. How have they been working out for you?
Oh, and Craterhoof Behemoth is beast - literally and figuratively. I don't even need my creatures to be unblockable with the Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Filth combo. The trample and pump is enough.
@ everybody reading:
Ok, so I think I've finally ironed out the kinks in my Sidisi build. I've been doing extremely well in FFA with 3-4 players. Following many suggestions on Cockatrice, I've found that what I've been missing is ways to get creatures out of the graveyard at will. Thanks to that, the graveyard becomes my second hand. Now this deck is on to something! Cards like Genesis, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Phyrexian Reclamation, Havengul Lich, and Soul of Innistrad have been beast. I have yet to edit the OP to reflect my findings, but for the moment, my current deck. Apologies for not putting casting costs, will do so in the OP soon enough...
EDIT:
Since I keep milling lands as well and without a single creature per trigger, I'm thinking of adding Scapeshift as well in order to put more lands in graveyard to make even more use of Life from the Loam and also to thin out lands from the deck. It also helps to tutor important lands like Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, and Gaea's Cradle but I've yet to test out this strategy.

I have yet to try Stitcher, but I feel like he can be serviceable. Liliana's reaver and titan can be slow but I have been very happy with them. In particular reaver because of his utility to also cause an opponent to discard.
I definitely see what you are saying about untapping lands. Unfortunately, I don't own a Cradle so it's not worth me going that route.
Generally I use delve to cast Empty the Pits. My graveyard is usually full of so much junk that I won't miss.
I want to take a closer look at your list tonight when I get home. Looks like we vary quite a bit with card choices.
Edit:
Looking over your list, looks like we are trying to do the same thing...just different ways.
Well, remember that untapping lands triggers Mesmeric Orb if you have it in play. You also get more value for untapping a land for a color you'd want. For example, Elvish Mystic taps to only give you G. And while a card like Satyr Wayfinder costs 1 more to cast, you can untap a land to get a different color not necessarily G. You also get the added bonus of being able to untap Cabal Coffers or a land that gives double mana like Temple of the False God, Simic Growth Chamber, etc. You run both Empty the Pits and Army of the Damned. How many more zombies (and how earlier) could you get if you were able to use Cabal Coffers (with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in play, clearly) multiple times in a turn? It would just be ridiculous.
Since I don't really see a viable way in your list to make your army go through an enemy's defense (nothing to give them landwalk, flying, trample, etc.), you may want to seriously consider Akroma's Memorial. Time in and time out this card has proven to be nothing but total breakage. The boons it gives your creatures is just ridiculous. Also, if Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Cabal Coffers prove too difficult to obtain (in order to also make use of Filth in your graveyard), I recommend Sun Quan, Lord of Wu. Giving horsemanship to all your creatures damn near guarantees that they're unblockable.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Great! I find that those three cards you want to include are a must have. Filth loves being in the graveyard and more often than not it's gonna be in there. I've pulled off so many victories thanks to Filth in graveyard + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in play. Ridiculous.
Plus, I'm pretty psyched to try Scapeshift. It not only functions as a land tutor (to play, no less), but helps thin out the lands from the deck in order to raise the probability of milling a creature every time I mill myself. I just have to see what to cut for it. Maybe for Kami of the Crescent Moon. It's not really doing much. I just want to try to avoid cutting a creature for a non-creature.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
I have never been a fan of cards that help opponents also, unless I am playing pillowfort. How has Mortuary been for you? I can understand its uses, but I could also see situations where it would hinder you. Just a thought, drop Mortuary for Scapeshift and then play with your lands to make room for Volrath's Stronghold. Yes, it costs mana to use each time. However, you can at least pick any creature to go on top of your library. Just a thought so that you don't drop your creature count.
No, dude, you don't get it. Mortuary is the ****. It guarantees a creature on the top of your deck. For free. Board wipe? All your creatures are topdecked. Cast Sidisi and proceed to mill to your heart's delight. This card has never let me down and it's a beast the moment it enters play. People don't want to waste spot removal on your creatures. They just topdeck it for you. Under normal circumstances, that would send you back a turn. But not with Sidisi. You just guaranteed a zombie. So they really need to get creative to eliminate one of your creatures. It's just that good.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Actually, thanks for pointing that out for me. I put the wrong Garruk; it's supposed to just be Garruk Wildspeaker.
Well, the playing of multiple lands not necessarily a sub-theme but a way of being efficient with what's milled. Since I'm milling a lot, I might as well take advantage of all the possible ramp thanks to Life from the Loam and Crucible of Worlds. With Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Oracle of Mul Daya, I can play all 3 lands I recover thanks to Life from the Loam. With Crucible of Worlds in play I can play up to 4 lands straight from my graveyard. That's some epic mana value right there.
EDIT:
I have changed the deck quite a bit since I've last been around here, so I've yet to update the OP (been procrastinating that quite a lot, lol) and to post any further findings. So far the deck has been running excellently. Will let you all know soon enough!

Another thought was how about replacing Survival of the Fittest with Fauna Shaman? My thought is more creatures for Sidisi trigger = better?
Also I was going to ask about Memnarch & Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, but then I saw on the OP you updated the changelog. Could you talk about why some of these choices were made? In particular I noticed you just removed what appeared to be some of the "play more than one land" subtheme, just after talking about how efficient it has been working. I'd love to hear more detailed thoughts:)
PS. I'm elated to see Deadbridge Chant added back in as that's a pet card of mine. But I'm sad to see Villainous Wealth go because that just seems awesome to live the dream!
I can imagine playing Fauna Shaman to much success. However, tapping means I'm only able to use it once. Though Survival of the Fittest is an enchantment, I can use it as often as possible, which makes it strictly better than Fauna Shaman - even though Fauna Shaman triggers Sidisi when milled.
Memnarch just felt like more win-more. It was also a way to use all of the land/mana/resources to steal things from opponents. It worked great but I felt it lacking synergy with the rest of the deck. The same with Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir. Though it helps people not do anything during your turn (casting counterspells, removal, casting an overloaded Cyclonic Rift, or similar things), it's not really a problem because countered spells go to the graveyard, where they can get recurred - same with basically any other card. So more often than not, opponents are always gonna waste resources on you. The only thing they can do is stall you. Though that may seem like a problem, bigger threats are those that hinder your graveyard, so they're the first to go anyways.
Since I removed the epic mana acceleration sub-theme, Villainous Wealth became a dead draw most of the time. It's an epic card and one that's hard to play being as so few commanders are Sultai-colored. However, as much as I want to play it due to its epicness, I usually only pulled it off once in a while - and only because I was already about to win anyways. Epic amounts of mana due to Gaea's Cradle, Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, etc. I may try and find a place for it again if I miss it too much.
The reasoning for most of these changes is to maximize consistency. Too many sub-themes is hard to pull off when most key cards are hitting the graveyard. It's hard to want to pull too many different cards from the graveyard or even harder to get them in there. For the moment, the deck is running smoothly. It's a bit more aggro than what I originally wanted, which is why I left in some crucial cards like Opposition, Cyclonic Rift, Dictate of Erebos, and Grave Pact. All of these cards help clear the way for the ever growing horde. Opposition is too insane to pass up. This card has not only single-handedly won me many games but have helped prevent me from losing many more. Nothing better than to tap a bunch of zombies during an opponent's combat step to prevent attack, and then untap to do the same (Prophet of Kruphix). Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos also get the job done when combined with sac outlets like Altar of Dementia. For additional zest, I also added creatures that pump up due to a full graveyard (Lhurgoyf, Splinterfright, Lord of Extinction, Boneyard Wurm). These can get very fat very quick.
Some other simple changes have been so paramount in making this deck work even more. Adding Victimize has had no price. One game I was able to do something epic by casting Filth and then sacrificing it for Victimize next turn to get Prophet of Kruphix and Consecrated Sphinx in play by turn 5. I have yet to test the potential of other cards that I've literally yet to even draw, like Ghoulcaller Gisa. She's fat and slow, but something about making an insane amount of zombies all the while having a sac outlet is too alluring to pass up. There's just so much promise - especially when you want creatures to be in the graveyard. Sac outlets are too important in this deck. Another game I played allowed me to sac Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre to Altar of Dementia in response to having my graveyard be exiled. So not only did I mill 10 cards from my opponent, but I saved my graveyard and got some zombies in the process all the while exiling the creatures milled (also had Undead Alchemist in play). This deck is just too much fun to play!
These are just some of the things I'm tinkering with. Even as I write this I still miss seeing opponents scoop after casting an X=40-something Villainous Wealth. However, I want to see how far the consistency route takes me. I would like to play more tutors, even though I still think it's a maybe being as I burn through so much of my deck I usually get what I want anyways. That and Entomb, Intuition, Buried Alive, Tezzeret the Seeker, Survival of the Fittest, Jarad's Orders, and Expedition Map are broken here as tutors already.
Another strategy I would love to employ is zombie tribal. I'm still working on viably getting that angle. Sidisi is basically zombie-colored (with the exception of the fiery zombies from Invasion block and the Grixis zombies from Alara block). UB for the Innistrad block zombies, BG for the Ravnica zombies, and just B in general for overall zombies. Having a lot of zombie lords makes this deck insane. Even in my original build, I constantly consider how brutal it would be by simply adding cards like Gempalm Polluter and Undead Warchief. But I want to make a deck that would really make use of zombies. Just imagine having Havengul Lich and Rooftop Storm in play. Every zombie in your graveyard costs a measly 1. I would really love to design this alternate build soon. Just as soon as I finish the original build!
Soon enough I will post my latest build and explain a bit more of the strategies involved. I may even altogether eliminate the creatures that get pumped by creatures in graveyard in favor of zombie lords to beef up the horde. It all depends on testing, testing, testing. I am also simultaneously testing a Daretti, Scrap Savant deck that has been working like a charm also. I took a break from Sidisi to work on it. But, since that deck is almost done, I can resume work on Sidisi, Brood Tyrant.

Lol, I would be instantly hated off the board, though I was thinking of playing that along with Leyline of the Void. Along with Opposition, opponents' creatures would never untap :P. Nice suggestion! That card brings so much hate it might as well be black, lol.

I'm creating a Sidisi deck also, with my deck focusing on a creature theme with dredge as an enabler. Since I'm using dredge, I have creatures like Ashen Ghoul, Nether Shadow, and Bloodghast with the obvious skullclamp. I use Ghoulcaller Gisa in my list and she works quite well. One way of negating her slow speed is using Thousand-Year Elixir. It allows you to use activated abilities immediately to negate her expensive cost. I can see that your list is pretty tight, but since you have some creatures with activated abilities, you may want to consider the elixir.
The elixir is a great suggestion. I do get around the lack of haste by either Akroma's Memorial or casing them (or reanimating) at eot thanks to Prophet of Kruphix.
By the way, how does your build run? Any particular interactions of worthy mention?
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
I was thinking about switching out Soul of Innistrad for Champion of Stray Souls, because I still regret a little bit cutting it out. The thing I didn't like about Champion of Stray Souls is how slow it is. If it survives long enough to do some serious damage, it's beast. Most of the time it was just sniped, exiled, stolen, etc. I'm still tinkering a bit with my utility creatures so I may test it out again. Now I produce even more mana faster than before so reinserting Champion of Stray Souls may happen. However, I'm still concerned about it's speed (tapping to do the ability much like what worries me with Ghoulcaller Gisa). I originally had it in the deck because I can topdeck it with its ability and guarantee a zombie everytime with Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. But with it in play it's other ability is too epic.
EDIT:
Made that aforementioned switch final. Much better to have creatures enter play for free than have them returned to my hand - even if it is one turn slower. Thanks for giving my decision the final push!

Well, another card I have in my build is Greater Good. I was fooling around with Sidisi testing different interactions and I realized that with Sidisi out, Greater Good, and a dredge creature in the graveyard, you could potentially cycle through your entire library (you need an initial creature to start the process). While in this process, I usually came across another dredge creature which netted me an additional zombie per dredge. After flipping my deck over, I sacrifice 3 zombies and cast dread return targeting laboratory maniac, sacrifice Sidisi to Greater Good, and win. I also run Necrotic Ooze/Phyrexian Devourer/Triskellion (I'll remove this depending on the group I'm playing with). Also, I'm not sure whether you've had a chance to test it, but you need to run Kessig Cagebreakers (you may not have it due to interference with the zombie theme). It's pretty easy to get 4-6 wolves without committing too much of your graveyard. I'll post my list once I have some time to list everything out.
Am I missing something with Kiora's Followers? They untap other permanents not themselves. I'm assuming you want to create infinite zombies with it and aMesmeric Orb. Is there another use I'm not seeing?
As for Kiora's Follower and the like, they do untap themselves. Tapping is part of the activation cost. They just target themselves. You can choose an untapped target to untap. However, when the ability resolves, they are tapped, so they then get untapped.

Unfortunately, Kiora's Follower can't untap herself to her ability because of the word "another", but does untap things like Fatestitcher for infinite untaps.

I'm curious why this deck has a "play more than one land" subtheme with cards like Azusa, Lost but Seeking or Oracle of Mul Daya? Also, Garruk, Primal Hunter seems like a random walker, is he just there for more tokens?

By the way, how does your build run? Any particular interactions of worthy mention?

As for Kiora's Follower and the like, they do untap themselves. Tapping is part of the activation cost. They just target themselves. You can choose an untapped target to untap. However, when the ability resolves, they are tapped, so they then get untapped.

Ah! Thanks for the clarification! And that interaction with Fatestitcher is a great one. Fatestitcher is actually good on its own, too.
