About Me I started playing magic in 1994, right as the Dark was being replaced by Fallen Empires on shelves. I quit playing initially after the debacle of Chronicles and sold my collection. At one point after the demise of Raw Deal I swore off card games completely, but rediscovered Magic as a multiplayer social format thanks to some good friends getting me to try a few games with a precon. I've been building decks and buying cards like a madman ever since. Been through probably 15 commander decks since I started back up. I was primarily a UR and BR player back in the day, but somehow have turned into almost exclusively UW/GW by by nature. As a player I am primarily a commander player; I've done some competitive limited and had some success on the small local level, but I'm far from an expert player. I have a core local playgroup of ten or so people that play commander at the moderately competitive level - we've all played top competitive decks and decided we don't enjoy that side of the game. Everyone has multiple decks of various power levels.

Quote from osieorb18 »Quote from ISBPathfinder »Its odd that you run Hushwing Gryff but not Torpor Orb. The deck needs flash creatures; the Gryff makes more sense in that respect. I'm interested in thoughts on the potential for Faerie and/or Wizard subthemes. I certainly agree that Whitemane Lion feels a bit underwhelming.
