The moment I saw this legendary creature spoiled yesterday I immediately started brewing with it. It's so many great abilities all stitched together on a single three-colored commander. So, I decided to take a crack at this commander abusing it's triggered ability more than anything. I'll be using cheap creatures like mana dorks and cantrips while also doubling on the triggers with other cards that care about you casting creature spells. The deck has an incredible synergy with multiple ways to win. Additionally, it's very easy to go infinite with the deck. Thankfully, if you're against infinite combos, these can be stopped at any time or you can simply choose not to go infinite (since the cards are so good on their own and combined with other cards in the deck).
The goal of the deck is to "storm" out by casting lots of cheap creatures, drawing into the deck, dropping lands into play untapped, and continue on. Wincons include the classic Craterhoof Behemoth stompy route, commander damage via Rhonas's Monument, decking yourself with Laboratory Maniac in play, using the "storm count" with Aetherflux Reservoir, pinging from each card drawn with Psychosis Crawler, amassing a huge army with Cathars's Crusade, etc.
This is definitely a rough draft of what I want to do with Chulane, Teller of Tales - especially since Commander 2019 and Throne of Eldrane will more than likely include great cards supporting this legendary creature. In the mean time, you can watch my deck tech video on Chulane here in the mean time.
Any comments and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated! I really like this commander and I've been looking to build an interesting GWU commander deck for quite some time. I was almost settled on just making an Estrid, the Masked enchantments deck but I feel like this deck is a better option for me, instead. It has so much potential for synergy and complex plays without being either too linear or too labyrinthine. It reminds of Sidisi, Brood Tyrant if Sidisi were the Sith version of Chulane (or Chulane the Jedi version of Sidisi).

Made some slight changes after a bit more rummaging through Scryfall. I did kinda want to get that YouTube video out there as quickly as possible after the spoiler (wanted to be the first one!). Only reason why it was released 5hrs ago and not 12hrs ago was because it took like 7hrs to upload. Oh well... At least I was first!
Anyways, I made a couple of changes that definitely improve upon the deck a bit:
There was already enough mana dorks in the deck and I wanted to keep them at a CMC of no greater than 1. Tatyova, Benthic Druid is such a great landfall card; the only reason I overlooked it is because it doesn't have the "landfall" wording. Why is that?? Shrieking Drake is great in that it only costs U and can bounce itself. So it essentially translates as "Draw a card. Put a land from your hand onto the battlefield." for just U. That's crazy. Aluren helps cast those cheap creatures for free and with flash. Abundance helps you dig for lands when in a pinch (or a creature card) which just synergizes so well with Chulane. Huatli, Radiant Champion just felt more winmore and you'd need at least 2 turns to get that emblem. Guardian Project is harder to get rid of and it pretty much does the same thing while also being easier to cast.
Again, I'm really liking this commander and this deck is something that I'm definitely gonna be working on more in the future.

I realy like your take on this commander. Maybe use knight of the reliquary and ramunap excavator?
I am brewing with the same commander but wanted to add more landfall triggers so I thought: maybe using kynaios and tiro to get acces to red. That gives acces to some great additions like nesting dragon and omnath, locus of rage. Combined with god eternal oketra and parallel lives you have a token theme going on. With tatyova and chulane and all other draw spells, it shouldn't be that hard to get chulane on the field (maybe using wargate next to shared summons). it could be a sweet deck but I am struggling a bit and since I am am a long time reader of your Sidisi threat I figured you might give of your thoughts?

Thanks! I'm glad my post has been able to help you out! I discuss my Chulane, Teller of Tales build in greater detail in a video on my YouTube channel but I haven't had the time to elaborate more in this thread. Soon enough, though!
As for Sidisi, thanks for following! I'm going to improve upon the Budget version hopefully within the month so a major update will come along!
Chulane can definitely go in any deck but I feel that it's more powerful as the commander. I don't think that adding red will do much to improve upon the strategy. Going with a token sub-theme is definitely a good idea since it'll produce tons of hijynxes, especially with Intruder Alarm and Cathars' Crusade; it's a good wincon.
Ramunap Excavator is a good inclusion in order to get even more landfall triggers. Although, I think a good idea is to shuffle the lands back into the deck from the graveyard because Chulane lets you drop them from your hand.
I definitely tackled Chulane like I tackled Sidisi. I want to be as synergistic as possible since his abilities are just so good. I'm gonna continue working on it but it's a tad difficult since it's been spoiled so early on; it's hard to test it on platforms like Cockatrice. For the moment, as is, it runs great. All the cheap creatures serve as chump blockers in a pinch and the mana dork helps you combo off pretty quickly. The deck also has various wincons in case opponents hinder any of them. If you also add Grand Abolisher or Dosan the Falling Leaf you could do it without having to worry about anything. You can win by amassing a horde of huge creatures, win by decking yourself, decking your opponents, or blasting them away. I plan to keep working on just that - maximizing the synergy.
