Hello everyone, been a couple years since I last played, and have recently gotten back into EDH with several friends. We're all in the process of upgrading our decks and I'm struggling a bit to focus my Sidisi, Brood Tyrant deck. It's one of my favorites and I have a blast playing it, but it's just not competitive enough for our current play group
My current goal for it is a self-mill, zombie token generation with sacrifice and graveyard play. I've began coming up with a list of cards that I'd like to add, but I would REALLY appreaciate input as to what I should cut from my decklist and how many of my additions are actually useful. Thanks
This is a super comprehensive write-up on Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. He has 3 different decks and suggestions from the last few sets, definitely the place I would start if I was building SBT.
Sivartus' suggestion is a good one. I'd check that primer he linked to out. Really in-depth and well written.
One thing I noticed from a quick glance is you really don't have enough creatures. 23 just isn't near enough. You're going to want at least 1/3rd of your deck to be creatures so that you have a higher chance of hitting with Sidisi. I think most of the decks in the primer are around 38, and I run 41 in my Sidisi.
