I was looking for another pauper deck that uses white but does something different compared to my other decks. Renegade Rallier looks like a very interesting effect, but potentially low impact for pauper with 2 cmc common permanents. Although Green/White does have a lot of variety in this field. I am looking for some guidance on what may be a good way to play this deck and if I am missing any cards that could help it compete.
The current set up is toolbox with emphasis on Equipment to beef up some midrange creatures and the commander. I need a bit of help with removal, draw/card advantage, and underrated Auras 2 cmc or less.
Thank you for the suggestions. Our playgroup has banned Rancor. Snake Umbra is very good. I need to get me a couple more of those. Spore Frog is also a great card for the deck, I just have to see if I have one somewhere.
Target strategy
1. use cheap ramp to build up mana early game and drop a few smaller creatures
2. Continue to build field with white Fliers in the mid game.
3. Hold Renegade Rallier for toolbox as the game requires. Recurring Weight of Conscience, Seal of Cleansing, or Ambush Viper type cards as needed. Bounce creatures played shortly after to reset Rallier for further toolbox.
4. Start equiping fliers in the mid-late game to add pressure in the air
5. Late game bring in the larger green creatures with equipment backup as finishers. Trample and Flying are evasions of choice here.
6. Renegade Rallier brought back in for support or card draw via Bequeathal, Kitesail, or Universal Solvent
The original idea of the deck was to chain Elvish Visionary effects with Renegade Rallier. However I find that strategy to be short-sighted and low impact. The big benefit in the ability is to get any Permanent at 2 cmc or less. This opens up Pasifisms, Seals, Equipement, Auras, and utility creatures which are much more powerful than a single card draw. The Draw is always there, but I have realized that "Draw a Card" is really the worst case scenario for each trigger. Looked at from this angle, Rallier becomes much more interesting.
After some play testing, I have discovered that Revolt was harder to trigger than I originally anticipated. I played a couple games, and both games I was jumping through hoops to trigger revolt for Renegade Rallier.
I am thinking about adding Multani's Acolyte and Yavimaya Granger as echo creatures, however the timing is not as flexible, so for now they will stay out.
Whitemane Lion appears to be the only creature that can self-bounce, so that it a bummer, but useful tech to trigger revolt if needed.
Here are a few things I found useful with Rallier. Repeatable Pacifisms are powerful, with Weight of Conscience seeming very strong, but have yet to use. Ambush Viper for pseudo instant removal. Seals and Qasali + Caterpillar make enemy Volton much easier to handle. So far, the equipment + fliers appear to be great beaters, with the 2cmc "bears" for utility. Having a couple deathtouch creatures on tap is extremely useful in my Hexproof heavy meta.
Draw power is still weak in green white, but looping Rallier is useful at all points of the game. Card advantage still needs to be a priority when half of the deck is only 2 cmc or less.
Now strongly considering Lunarch Mantle as recommended by Temujin. It was also recommended by a friend of mine and I turned my nose up to it. It helps trigger revolt, but still only grants evasion when sacrificing permanents, which I don't make tons of extra creature tokens or anything.
Then it dawned on me that Lunarch Mantle sacrifices PERMANENTS at INSTANT SPEED. As one of the very few cards in Pauper that can sacrifice enchantments at instant speed, it makes Journey to Nowhere a hard exile! As well as Oblivion Ring, except Journey is recurrable by Rallier. This capability along with allowing pump, evasion, and revolt triggers, all for 2 mana makes is too good not to try.
Also looking for thoughts on Lignify vs. Pacifism. Leaning towards Lignify being better by removing abilities. Pasifism prevent blocking.
Fetch lands (like Terramorphic Expanse) sounds neat in your deck.
Thanks. Upkeep mentioned this above, and those two are already included. Thanks for the tip. I also play GW bounce land for additional leave battlefield triggers.
I am now looking for more nuanced recommendations beyond the obvious. Good examples include Lignify as I mentioned, or Lunarch Mantle as recommended by others. Also interested to hear if anyone has any experience playing deathtouch creatures for hexproof defense, or defense in general.
Will give Ironclad Slayer another look as it has good stats and recurs my pump which is needed for closing out a game. To this end Byway Courier, while appearing weak at first, is a useful card for this deck. I actually want it in combat for the investigate on death. Solids stats and cantrips after I get some attacking/blocking out of it. Although Ironclad Slayer could suplant Courier for same stats, but arguable stronger ability.

Spore Frog has good synergy with Renegade Rallier.
Lunarch Mantle is a good aura for your deck.
Both River Boa and Mire Boa are both very effective as well in PDH.

Things that help trigger revolt that I liked were things that self-sac with little investment.
Self Sac permanents: Spellbombs, Seals, and Clues (Investigate)
Self-sac creatures: Sakura Tribe Elder, Dawntreader Elk, Quasali Pridemage, Caustic Caterpillar, Heart Warden

Loyal Sentry is common now thanks to Masters 25. Seems like a decent chump blocker vs hexproof.
Lands like Terramorphic Expanse, Evolving Wilds and the Panoramas are also great ways to trigger revolt for free.
