bringing my love of w/x midrange/tempo to oathbreaker. Chose Serra the benevolent because i enjoy angels and well she's Serra. Also who is more qualified to face off against nicol bolas (my friends deck). Also looking forward to creating some custom angel tokens. the deck is loosely based off of my commander deck and shares many cards as well.
The plan of the deck is to play lots of disruptive flying creatures and then angels. there is a blink and recursion subtheme as a lot of the efficient angels have effects for that and one of the fun things in mono white is the ability to reuse etb effects. The deck also runs an equipment tool box to grab various effects like card draw, ramp, and protection. i find this is useful for dealing with the weaknesses of mono white.
The signature spell is flexible haven't decided on one yet.rootborn defenses saves the team and duplicates an angel. Open the armory guarantees access to the decks toolbox and can grab the aura removal spells . And you cant really go wrong with swords to plowshares or teferi's protection in white.
any suggestions are appreciated i've never played oath breaker before so not super sure on how to balance my deck construction. trying to stay fairly budget with the list and cant spend to much right now. pretty much own the whole deck at the moment already which is nice.
