The bracket I saw on lotusnoir.info misreported the result of Enevoldsen's top8 match then, it said Enevoldsen won and then faced Elves in the semis.
Every time I play against Elves I wonder how anyone ever loses a game with the deck. Of course, every time I try playing it myself I end up wondering how it ever wins ... I just don't have any sense for it and it always terrifies me to play against it.

Winning a 278-man event then a 695-man event in the same weekend may not be typical for all players.*

Due to real-life obligations, I am taking a long break from Magic which may include missing the local Legacy GP. Apologies for not being able to keep my threads updated.
To be fair, Elves coasted through that top 8 by playing its 3 best matchups by far ... Punishing Maverick followed by 2 straight Death and Taxes. Elves was 12-for-12 on opponents playing Mother of Runes maindeck. The bracket setup basically handed the tournament to the Elves player on a platter ... Not to say that Elves can't beat Patriot Delver or Storm, but it couldn't really have gone better for the Elves player.
Actually, you're not being fair at all.
Do you think you sound intelligent when you try to debunk a person's success in a 695 man tournament as well as winning the 278 trial the day before?
Congratulations Julian on a job well done and taking down the biggest Legacy event of the year.

Oh the dude has got no mercy, I'm not trying to belittle his accomplishment at all. I'm just saying, if he had the opportunity to design the top 8 bracket however he wanted I don't think he would've changed a thing. He executed the whole tournament perfectly and got justly rewarded with winning the whole thing.

It's almost been a year, and it's dropped in price actually. Still this card is truly nuts, a real clock in all decided that play it, but not unkillable as the answers for it are also answers to V.Cliques and Delver, so I don't think it'll get banned.
Re-reading this was certainly a delight. The format self-correctly nicely and TNN is now one more powerful permanent next to many other powerful permanents. The heat is currently on Treasure Cruise.
