I think it is in the interest of our community to patronize stores that support Legacy when possible over ones that do not, and I have decided to assemble a list of stores that run Legacy events. I intend to keep this sorted both regionally and alphabetically. Please help me keep this accurate, especially with regards to stores missing from the list that do support Legacy, stores on the list that no longer support Legacy, existence of a usable online storefront, and any additional comments you may have. I will make sure to keep this updated!
Galaxy Games (Dublin) - Saturday weeklies, $10 entry
Great Escape Games (Sacramento) - Second Sunday of each month at 12 pm ($20)
Knight Ware Inc. (Studio City) - Monthly Legacy events, alternating between $10 and $20-25 entry, on second Sunday of month; weekly FNM at 7 pm, decks available for borrowing!
Montasy Comics Chapter 2 (New York) - Chapter 2 store in Midtown runs Tuesday weeklies at 6:30 pm
Mythic Games (Elmira) - Thursday night weeklies ($5), semi-monthly $1k+ Legacy and $750 Vintage events. Great store that's focused on Legacy and Vintage.
Nebulous Gaming NYC (New York) - Thursdays at 7 pm ($16), store credit or packs paid out by record to 2-2 or above
Card Kingdom (Seattle) - Large store with Monday weeklies at 6:30 pm, payouts based on 4 rounds of Swiss; occasional larger events, including $1K series. (Twitch: cardkingdom)
Mirkwood and Shire Cafe (Arlington) - Monday weeklies at 7 pm, occasional large events (50-100 players)
MOB Games (Lake Stevens) - Tuesday weeklies at 7 pm, $10 entry paid out in store credit
Mox Boarding House (Bellevue) - Card Kingdom's second location. Large store with Thursday weeklies at 7 pm. $10 entry with payouts based on four rounds of Swiss. Occasional large weekend events, including $1K series
Northwest Sportscards (Tacoma) - Tuesday night weeklies at 7 pm ($5), 100% prizes paid out in store credit
Hareruya (Shinjuku, Tokyo) - One of the largest shops in Japan, owned by Tomaharu Saito; Legacy events fire four times per day, five days per week (Twitch: hareruya)
Due to real-life obligations, I am taking a long break from Magic which may include missing the local Legacy GP. Apologies for not being able to keep my threads updated.
In light of recent actions and comments made by Wizards of the Coast that are hostile to the Legacy community, this thread has been remade to eliminate mention of which stores provide proxy events and which don't. This is a regrettable disservice to those who play with proxies, as it is now more difficult to determine whether a prospective store allows their use. However, we feel that it's better for the community that stores be protected from potential retribution such as these overreaching actions.
- Nerd Rage Gaming: Offered Legacy FNM in January. The turnout was around 16 people each Friday (!). They are going to do it again in March. February has Thursday nights sanctioned Legacy events. I highly recommend this store and the players there. Everyone is super nice and fun to play with, while also being very competitive. They also have a feature match each round and they stream on twitch.
- Xtreme Games: Really roomy store. Nice people. Much more laid back than NRG.
- Draxtar Games: Offers Legacy the last Saturday of the month (usually?). Nice people. Also pretty laid back.
Knightware in Los Angeles is extremely competitive. Tournaments typically range from 50-80 players. I've never gotten my ass handed to me so fast other than Star City Games events.
Muse Comics in Montana is a really beautiful and nicely ran store although almost nobody shows up for Legacy. This is likely due to the size of Missoula Montana. Even though it's a college town there are only about 80,000 people.
This is about the stores in Washington:
Dark Tower Games stopped having legacy tournaments a couple years ago. Docking Bay 93 has NEVER had any legacy tournaments.
Bigger Better Games in Fremont Ca is switching to Sundays. They mentioned events ranging from $5 to $30. The one I just played was $15.

Here are the little self-imposed guidelines I'm working with for the multiplayer decks I've been building:
• Must be cheap. Total price tag < $100, preferably < $50. Ideally ~$30. No one card greater than about ~$6
• Format: Modern (makes getting the cards somewhat easier for the play group, and almost all my cards are Modern-legal)
• Must be relatively interesting in 1:1 games. I don't need to win against Splinter Twin, but I should be able to play duels now and then
• Avoid instant-win combos; they only serve to make me target #1, and then the deck is worse than useless because I get killed first, every time
• Must have a funny name!
For Arizona, I know that Crusaders' Retreat is now permanently closed. Manawerx is trying to get the word out that they are again holding Legacy on Monday evenings at 7:00 for $5 entry. Hope this helps.

In Nova Scotia, Games People Play and Strictly Singles have stopped their weekly Legacy events. The Deck Box still runs theirs, and is now on a firm schedule of having it happen on the second Saturday of every month. Registration starts at noon, play starts at 1 pm, $10 entry.

It may be redundant to some extent, but I am trying to make a community calendar of Legacy events. I will try to include these events to mine, and I encourage you to come check ours (though ours is much shorter than this)
I have set it up so people can add their local events, and then everyone can see them. In theory, I want to crowd-source this as a sortable, worldwide calendar. I will put the above events on my to-do list, but with all worldwide events, it's a long list for one guy.
The Gathering Battlefield in Louisiana has been hosting weekly Legacy FNM's since the store opened and it should be added to the list. For some reason they don't advertise it though. No proxies allowed but the store has numerous Legacy decks for players to borrow.
Game Master Games in Hicksville NY has been offering legacy roughly twice a month. They have a rotating schedule on Friday's at 8pm, once a month is legacy, and they have a legacy tournament one saturday a month. I do apologize, I can't remember which week of the month they are held. I think the 8pm on Friday's is the third week, but I can't remember the Saturday schedule. Also, for their Thursday SCG nights, if there is a fifth thursday in the month, it's legacy, but that can't be guaranteed. Lastly, a lot of just like playing legacy for fun so if you've got a deck and want to get some games in, just come in on a Friday night and you'll probably find some games.
Does anyone know of there are any good places to play in the NYC area, other than The Geekery? Nebulous has been failing to make 8 people, and I have heard that the Montasy pay out is atrocious. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you.
Dream Wizards in Rockville MD supports Legacy. They host a legacy tournament event every second Friday of the month. Decent prize payout and reasonable entry fee.
Just an update that Two-Headed Games in Kentucky has changed their schedule around a few times trying to accommodate as many of their regulars' schedules as they can. Wednesdays at 7 seems to be what worked best, that's been going for at least a few months now. Unfortunately I can't usually make it at that time, so I can't give much information, but I hear they get about 12-20 people every week. I think the entry is $5, but can't guarantee that. Not sure what the prizes are, but they're pretty generous with their payouts for all the events I've played there. I assume it's store credit based on how many people enter.
Bigger Better Games in Fremont, CA is consistently firing 10-proxy casuals on Sundays at 2:00pm. Buy-in from $10-$15 (depending on how many noobz show up)

Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

If you're still collating this list and keeping it active, Game Time on the north side of Indianapolis has been doing legacy weekly events every thursday at 7PM, and has been getting a steady 10-15 players.
