Deck/Card Tags
When posting a list of talking about card(s), please used their corresponding tags. This makes the conversation easier, as people can now see exactly what card(s) you're talking about. An explanation on their use can be found here: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?p=342567#post342567
Primer
In some threads, you might notice something called a 'primer' in the opening post. Primers are an in-depth, opening post of the deck that's kept up to date, allowing people who aren't familiar to read through and get an understanding. Primers are highly suggested and normally have, but are not limited to, the following...
Introduction: Why this deck/idea? What's special about it? Why do you think it'll succeed?
Deck list (with tags): You want people to know cards you're talking about, right?
Card Choices: Why did you pick the cards you did? What cards did you almost include, but didn't? What cards did you outright say 'NO' to, and why?
Strategy/Matchups: Any special synergy, or combos? How do you play the deck out against aggro, aggro/control, combo, etc? What's the battle plan, general?
History: How has the deck changed/evolved over time?
Record: How have you done? Any tournament reports, etc.
Other Rules
1. New deck ideas MUST start in Budget or Developing. If you feel we are missing anything from Established, you must contact a mod prior to creating the thread. New archetype threads need approval.
2. Stop the spam! DO NOT post a deck, list, or 'what should I start playing' thread within the main Legacy area. Period. [official] threads serve as an outlet, but discussion of said topics will be limited to those threads only. We have done this with the ban list and price complaining, among others.
