I just got a playset of sinkhole and I am wondering what type of build are they most efficient in. I was thinking of something with stifle and wasteland to go with land D theme. However, I don't know what's the best way to capitalize on my opponents having little land. Play bombs?
Second. Pox is where you'd use this, together with Wasteland.
I like that deck quite a bit, especially now that Miracles is no longer a thing.
That said, I'm not sure there's many decks I would consider this for, unless you're playing something with a stax-type bent, or a Stompy build with perms like Trinisphere. But those builds aren't usually mono-black either....
You can play it in Deadguy, with Vindicate, DRS and Dark Confident and Wasteland, plus discard. Not all Deadguy lists run landkill, but with Wasteland and Vindicate you get a fair few free wins off it.
Alternatively it can go in Mono B prison Pox, although two points.
One....don't run budget Pox. You need the Nethervoids and 4 Lilly to run landkill. Tabernacle is ideal, you can get away without one, but it won't be as good vs. fair decks.
Two...... Pox is hard to learn and has difficulty in a wide open meta with one or two of every deck. There are multiple lists around, with huge variation, again not all Pox players run it. Pox needs a great 75, not a 60 as there will be some super hard matches game one.
You can play BW pox too, very different ,and swap to deadguy for a small investment of Confident and Mox D.
Black stax decks don't really exist, I have seen one on SCG a year or two back, and a Pox Stax hybrid. It would go there but if you have Stax cards Dragon Stompy, Geddon Stax and Mono Brown Stax are better. Stax is a niche deck. Mono b Stax is just not a deck.
