Hive Mind is one of my personal favorite deck in Legacy. It's not hard to pilot, it has constantcy, protection and can kill as quick as turn 2. The fact that you actually win via the Pacts gives you the advantage of having ''8 Force of Will''. Not a lot of Hive Mind decks were played in big tournaments, but when it did, it did great. Now, relax and enjoy your games
How to play the deck:
You have 2 ways to kill; Number one is to put a Hive Mind into play via Show and Tell or simply hardcast it and then play a Pact. Number two, Show and Tell a Emrakul, the Aeons Torn into play and watch your opponent bite his fingernails.
11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
As for the how to play, choices, stats, etc... I'll make them on sunday evening or monday night (I'm at GF's place and have little access to her lappy :P).
In the mean time, post your list/results
I used the same list as I posted above and made 5-1-0 at a local tourny

isn't the deck kind of slow sometime's? I mean krosan grip seems to ruin you. (destroys grim monolith of even hive mind itself, only way to get back in tempo would be show and tell win con)

Assuming you have a Pact ready to play once Hive Mind hits, your opponent will never get a chance to play K. Grip before you get a chance to play your Pact triggering the Hive Mind.
Hive Mind hits play --> you get priority --> you play a pact and hive mind triggers --> opponent plays grip destroying hive mind, but since hive mind already triggered they still get the copy of the pact
After Hive Mind resolves, and with no spells on the stack... can you legally cast Pact of Negation targeting nothing?
Nope. You must have a legal target to announce a spell or ability that requires a target
And a spell is never a legal target for itself.

Asking people to remove quotes in their signatures is tyranny! If I can't say something just because someone's feelings are hurt then no one would ever be able to say anything! Political correctness is stupid.
. I still have some questions on the hive mind deck, but it's becoming my favorite legacy deck. It's just broken and fun. For some reason I've never seen it get 1st place, but it's always in the top 8, and usually in the top 5. Even out of those, I usually find it in 2nd place.
Here's some questions:
You pretty much lose if you play a pact spell on the opponent's turn right? Even if you have a hive mind? (unless you can pay for it) So it would be kind of bad if I play a pact of negation on my opponent's turn?
I saw someone play misdirection mainboard but is it really that good? I don't think it's that good. I would rather have -2 misdirection +1 Intuition +1 Grim Monolith/ Pact of the Titan.
Also what's the difference between heresy19 and Bryan Eleyet's mainboard? It seems like heresy19's mainboard is missing 1 card...
What do you guys think about lotus petal/chrome mox/mox diamond? I've actually been able to get a turn 1 win from putting in mox diamond.
Also what do you think about 2 emrakul 1 progenitus instead of 3 emrakul? sometimes my opponents can handle an emrakul but not a progenitus.

Petal/Mox, while more explosive, is less consistent, as your adding in a card that does not help with the combo, only ramps it.

You have Grim Monolith and a lot of lands, so you can actually afford to pay the Pact cost after untap, but I'd recommend against playing a Pact during your opponents turn while you have Hive Mind out.
Misdirection is for targeted discard, which wrecks combo decks. It's a metagame choice. If your meta doesn't have a lot of Hymn to Tourach, Thoughtseize, and co. then you can make the switch.
I like the 2 Emrakul, 1 Progenitus idea. Progenitus is my fatty of choice in my Show and Tell deck, and it actually pitches to FoW when you lack another Blue card.

Oh, that's what you meant! Yeah, I've done that before. I only do it when I'm desperate though, as progenitus is exiled.
lol, sometimes you just need to do it.
Also, if you have an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and a Progenitus in your hand, and you need to Force of Will something on the stack, might as well pitch the Progenitus for redundancy's sake.
Finally, if your plan is to resolve Hive Mind and win, rather than race, Progenitus is a dead card anyway.

Yeah, it's true. Surprisingly though, I would usually rather play progenitus than Emrakul. Maybe it's just a meta call. When your hive mind win con doesn't work (which is really rare) progenitus is just great. I've learned that show and tell + emrakul or progenitus (usually progenitus) is better against aggro decks than hive mind + pact. Maybe it's just me. :/
The main difference with my deck is the sideboard. It's appropriate for my meta
Also, counted my deck and it's 75 cards, no?

Ah. And from the looks of it you have 64 cards. Missing a misdirection.
Also progenitus is officially in my mainboard now. Why? You can fetch it with summoner's pact. I've done summoner's pact and then a show and tell so many times it's not even funny.
Added the Thomas Ma decklist.... and I'm still counting 75 cards in my deck... I must be really bad at counting here

How to play the deck:
You have 2 ways to kill; Number one is to put a Hive Mind into play via Show and Tell or simply hardcast it and then play a Pact. Number two, Show and Tell a Emrakul, the Aeons Torn into play and watch your opponent bite his fingernails.
Maindeck card choices:
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn - One of the kill + helps against decks that mills ( High Tide for instance ).
Grim Monolith - Helps a lot for mana accel to hardcast a Hive Mind.
Hive Mind - Combo piece to win the game with Pacts.
Brainstorm - To help you dig for the missing pieces / find some disruption instant speed.
Ponder - To help you dig for the missing pieces.
Intuition - Gives you what you really need, when you need it.
Show and Tell - It's a big boost to help you win on turn one.
Force of Will - Because ''NO'' is the best answer.
Misdirection - Not commonly used in Legacy, this ''Free'' counterspell can help in a lot of situation.
Pact of Negation / Summoner's Pact / Pact of the Titan / Slaughter Pact - ''Free'' spells that win you the game via Hive Mind.
City of Traitors / Ancient Tomb - Obvioulsy to accelerate the deck.
Volcanic Island / Underground Sea / Tropical Island / Island - Colored mana.
Scalding Tarn / Misty Rainforest / Flooded Strand / Polluted Delta - To fetch the lands you need.
The usual core of the deck looks like this:
4x Brainstorm
4x Hive Mind
4x Ponder
4x Show and Tell
4x Pact of Negation
3x Grim Monolith
3x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
3-4x Island
1-4x Scalding Tarn
1-4x Misty Rainforest
1-4x Flooded Strand
1-4x Polluted Delta
4x Ancient Tomb
Flex card choices:
Ethereal Usher - I don't like it but I've seen a lot of people running a single one to tutor Hive Mind.
Gitaxian Probe - Another ''free'' spell. It lets you see if you can actually combo out or if you should wait + it cantrip.
Progenitus - A good suggestion by Firefly Dreams , it can be pitched to Force of Will and can be fetched with Summoner's Pact. I might do 2x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn + 1x Progenitus in my current list.
Dispel - One one my favorite 1 cmc counterspell.
Spell Pierce - Another great 1 cmc counterspell.
Noxious Revival - Tech to draw your win-con if it was somehow disrupted or to make your opponent draw something useless.
Jace, the Mind Sculptor - Didn't see a lot of builds running it but enough to actually put it here.
Sideboard card choices:
It's up to your tastes / metagame / colors of the deck.
Green splash:
Nature's Claim - Destroys obstacles + you don't care about your opponent getting some life.
Krosan Grip - Awesome answer to a lot of things.
Beast Within - Same as Krosan Grip but can help a bit further.
Black Splash:
Perish - Helps against Aggro / Elves.
Thoughtseize - Best hand disruption you can get.
Ravenous Trap - Good Dredge nightmare.
The rest:
Leyline of Sanctity - Against storm combo or burn.
Engineered Plague - Messes up tribal decks.
Pyroclams / Firespout - Can easily sweep the board.
Spell Pierce / Dispel - Cheap control.

So Pact of Negation isn't always a win. You'd need another spell first.
