I've had a fascination with this jar tendrils build i stumbled across and want to make it viable for current legacy. But i'm gunna need outside opinions to make it work. heres the original posting of its innovator.
what I was thinking was updating it with addition of entomb and show and tell emrakul.
heres my current idea of what it might need to look like to be compeditive.
3 magus of the jar
2 emrakul
4 cabal ritual
3 show and tell
3 corpse dance
4 shallow grave
4 entomb
3 careful study
4 limdul's vault
4 land grant
2 tendrils of agony
4 ponder
4 chrome mox
4 lotus petal
4 lion's eye diamond
4 bayou
4 tropic

The problem I see with it is that with each Jar activation, your opponent gets another chance to draw an answer. In a format with force of will, daze, and others, you might need a protection spell to start it off. I think something like Silence or Chant might find a nice place in here, if only to cover your ass in the [thresh/landstill/CB/merfolk] matchup
Edit: Just noticed this, but the deck's also a year-and-a-half old...
I and the SI crew on thesource have been working on something similiar, to an extent. This is the most recent list that was suggested, though I have some disputes as to its viability:
// Lands
1 [FUT] Dryad Arbor
1 [R] Badlands
3 [ZEN] Verdant Catacombs
1 [R] Bayou
Instead of playing with Jar's which opens you up to countermagic, play Draw 7's via Slithermuse, Infernal Tutor-->Slithermuse, Burning Wish --> Diminishing Returns/Balance of Power/Recurring Insight.. and 2 playsets of Draw 4's to complement it. Its decent right now but its too volatile right now compared to other versions of SI. D7's are so powerful though that it really is worth exploring their potential.
In general though, I would say that Jar's are not viable. D/S plays Eldrazi + Shelldock isle and DD loops if you want to go the Eldrazi route. It looks much more consistent than your current list. It is lacks protection which makes me ask why this would be playable over something like Belcher or SI.

the opening to counter magic has always been a concern of mine i figured that would be the most stressed point in the sideboard selection. If updated with entomb it goes off no problem.
I want to say that adding 4 defense grids should put it in the solid against counter magic match ups. Only problem is getting defense grid to stick, and if it doesn't then your spending what i imagine to be precious combo mana for casting additional defense grids as your opponents hand is of course refilled after every jar.
Similar senario if silence fails to cast and so forth.
only reason i proposed the eldrazi addition is the original design is heavy on the shallow graves and corpse dances which resurrect Emrakul.
