The deck I have in the OP is over half a year old. I am positive it could use definite improvement.
There are some things I dislike about your list, and some things I really like.
I really like that Boreal Druid is a Snow permanent. Perfect with Scrying Sheets, which I want to see 4-of maindeck.
I dislike the Treetop Villages. CITP lands are going to be a hamper, an unfortunate experience I learned from the OP list, and it will reduce the number of snow permanents you can run.
Not a fan of the Wurm, the Deus, Snakeform, or maindecked Gaea's Blessing. The Wurm falls under the same dangerous category that Browbeat falls under- giving your opponent the option is never decent when you have better threats you can play. The Deus will be an issue with 4 maindecked Scrying Sheets, and the Boreal Druids, both of which I definitely want to see in the deck. Snakeform is a nice trick that cantrips but prevents us from being able to rely on abusing the very effective City of Solitude or Defense Grid. Gaea's Blessing should be in the sideboard, if at all used.
Worldly Tutor, probably as a 2-of, will make a nice addition. At worst we can tutor a snow creature to the top then draw it immediately with Scrying Sheets. Orhan Viper most likely.
Now that I have some free time, I will take a stab at that hybrid you allude to:
I like the interactions between Master of the Wild Hunt and Verdant Touch (cast it on an opponent's land), and Master of the Wild Hunt and Wren's Run Packmaster (one wolf can take down any creature threat via deathtouch).
The deck is starting to look more streamlined, and reminds me of The Mighty Quinn with a focus on land destruction and earlier pressure.
Can you suggest an alternate to the Jitte? I don't have the money, and with the price jump of Master, I may not for quite a while.
Also: the maindecked blessings were just to make it so I have an auto-win against the mill players in my meta. Especially when they don't have Stifle.
you need something to hit critters with, or gain card advantage. sword of fire and ice and sword of light and shadow are the other two universally accepted "good" equipments, with sofai being the better of the two most of the time. it shouldn't take much to get either of the other two..I think they cost less than jitte.

Perfect advice.
More land? With the eleven 1 drops, not counting Worldly Tutor, 3 of which are Tops that find you more land, I would assume this would not be the case. I suggest playtesting it first, but if you had to cut anything, I would consider cutting into Plow Under.
Sorry; my mindset for the deck needs to change. Previously, it would be
t1 elf go
t2 blow up/disrupt mana.
Now, it's not so much the case.
I'll have to test it before I know.
But by budget, I mean 3-7 dollars, not 12-15. I'm kind of strapped right now. In fact, assembling this w/o jitte is still going to be difficult.
ya know, in a format full of fetches, I'd probably maindeck bind and be glad for it. it also does horrible things to sdt shenanigans, qasali pridemage activations (you do use some artifacts and enchants...always good to stop), aether vial, wasteland stoppage (you do want to keep on using your scrying sheets, don't you?)...there are any number of good reasons to keep the bind main. otherwise, you do need a finisher in this list. I'm not thinking the current ones are good enough, though I could be wrong. verdant touching/master of the wild hunt seems like a "cool stuff" situation, and that's mighty dangerous. safer would be kamahl, fist of krosa because it can be worldly tutored and the touch can't. it also takes less mana to activate. his ability to overrun at instant speed provides a much better finisher here, too. that said, he might make a better finisher in the original one drop stone rain type list.
Kamahl is an excellent suggestion. He is at least two turns slower than Verdant Touch, however. I would run him as a 1-of (we can Worldly Tutor him out).
I find Mouth of Ronom unnecessary and too mana-heavy for its effect; losing the land is a pain too.
So what would you say is best in this deck?
SoFI or the Jitte?
Btw, are we ever going to get a gimmicky/cool name for the deck?
I think we should start brainstorming.
Oh, and hyperchord, I've tried out the Mouth of Ronom, and though at first it seems cool, it never really does what you want it too.
and what should be cut for Kamahl?
It would probably be best to just cut the two Plow Unders for a Kamahl and a land.

Definitely Jitte. You can expend the counters you get to kill your opponents' lands after you animate them.

Hmm.... lets assess the things the deck is "about":
-Mono Green
-Land Destruction
-Snow Engine
-Control
-A relationship with Elves and Wolves
-A vague similarity to The Mighty Quinn decklist in Mono White
A few ideas for names:
Pack Attack Land Hunt Control (LHC for short, to be comically compared to the Large-Hadron Collider for the physics fans) The Mighty Pack (A The Mighty Quinn reference) Ice Age
"Hungry Like the Wolf" sounds too long and off-point.
"Werewolves in/of London" would be both neat and cute if we had more reason to associate the deck with either London or actual Werewolves.
I'm getting this really weird thematic feeling about this deck.
Green mages are supposed to have a link to the earth, right? Being able to commune with it, even bring it to life to fight for the green mage...
But this feels like twisting those intentions. I mean, instead of bringing your Forest to life to fight for you, instead you bring your enemies lands to life and send your wolf pack out to hunt those lands down....seems kind of twisted. I think the title should reflect that theme.
Chaosworm, I love the sound of "Soft Sheets" and enjoy its reference to the way this deck utilizes the Scrying Sheet engine but to a less control like way that is most directly associated with The Mighty Quinn. However, I am not familiar with your reference to New Terrain or Mew, would you mind explaining these two things to me?
Good point bakofried, it does sort of utilize that strategy, and the closest words/concepts I can come up with that relate to that idea are "bohemian", "betrayal", "unorthodox", "defiance", "revolt", and "heretical".

Why not call the deck Duran Duran. They have a song called "Hungry Like the Wolf"
...and then it dawned on me that we ought to include a maindeck copy (or two) of Dosan the Falling Leaf. You, sir, might be onto something. Unlike City of Solitude, Dosan allows us to activate Scrying Sheets, Top, Master of the Wild Hunt, Wren's Run Packmaster, and Kamahl during our opponents' turn. Perfect.
You know, history has it that The Mighty Quinn earned its title when its creator, TheInfamousBearAssassin, was listening to a particular song or was reminded of a particular song and so went with that title. Any title to deal with music would thusly pay homage to The Mighty Quinn without us having to reference it more directly in the title itself. I am very pleased with this.
If we replace the two City of Solitudes with two Dosan the Falling Leafs, I second the title "Duran Duran". It would make additional sense simply because we have two Dosans in the deck.
Speaking of creatures that work well with the deck, why not try Quirion Druid instead of Verdant Touch, which feels a little clunky from my point of view. 5 mana each turn feels heavy, especially when Quirion Druid potentially comes down turn 2...thoughts? This also allows you to keep the 2x Plow Under, which are just brutal...
actually, despite all the theoretical options going on here, where are some actual match results? I'm curious to see what it would need help with in order to be more competitive.
Quirion Druid is a perfect replacement and can be tutored as well.
How does the deck perform against CounterTop? Probably poorly pre-board, but we can easily pack several answers in the sideboard, most notably Krosan Grip.
Thanks for the links Chaosworm, I'll check them out tonight after I get home from boxing practice if I'm not too exhausted; I cannot view them while at work.
it would work, sure, but I'm not sure how well. and I thought you were the one testing it on mws?? I'll give it a shot after this week when I'm done with finals.

Pendelhaven is a definite 1-of. I like that.

Also definitely needs Sensei's Divining Top.

Now that I have some free time, I will take a stab at that hybrid you allude to:
4x Scrying Sheets
1x Pendelhaven
15x Snow-Covered Forest
Accelerators (8)
2x Llanlowar Elf
2x Fyndhorn Elf
4x Boreal Druid
Creature Threats (11)
4x Ohran Viper
3x Master of the Wild Hunt
2x Wren's Run Packmaster
2x Acidic Slime
4x Ice Storm
4x Mwonvulni Acid-Moss
2x Verdant Touch
2x Plow Under
Control (9)
3x Sensei's Divining Top
2x Umezawa's Jitte
2x City of Solitude
2x Worldy Tutor
4x Thorn of Amethyst
3x Defense Grid
3x Krosan Grip
1x Vexing Shusher
4x Bind
Bind in the sideboard versus fetchlands, mainly.
I like the interactions between Master of the Wild Hunt and Verdant Touch (cast it on an opponent's land), and Master of the Wild Hunt and Wren's Run Packmaster (one wolf can take down any creature threat via deathtouch).

But I think you need more lands. I've run low-land counts before, and it was awful.

Oh, and the reason I suggested Mirri's Guile over SDT is because you don't need mana to activate it. I don't know if that's worth it though.
I find Mouth of Ronom unnecessary and too mana-heavy for its effect; losing the land is a pain too.

Anyway, does anyone know whether or not the Master of the Wild Hunt+Quirion Druid lock works well yet?
