The closest I'd try for a colorless dude is phyrexian revoker which has been tried before. Really the best sword is fire and ice followed by jitte the rest of the swords are fluff. Nothing amazing came out for the deck but its still good the way it is. Chalice for one is still a beating especially with all the burn variants creeping around.
Like I said, I am thinking about testing Lodestone golem but that doesn't mean that the card belongs in the deck I just want to test it. It's also not like you need to rely on casting a ton of threats anyway. I mean, most of the time when I play faerie stompy I just play one creature and then some equipment and then I start attacking.
Also, I am not sure about sword of body and mind being just "fluff" to me sometimes you have to block something like knight to then swing for the win the next turn. While other times you only happen to draw trinket mages against some goyfs and so in that regard I think sword of body and mind deserves some testing at the least even if there is a good possibility that it doesn't belong in the deck and the samething with Lodestone Golem.
Although, there is a reason why I want to try Lodestone Golem and sword of body and mind though and it's because I actually kind of play Faerie stompy as a prison aggro deck. Where I look to lock my opponent with chalice and Golem is just an another element to that with the ability to be a 5/3 creature so you can also play aggro too. The samething goes with sword of body and mind where you can make 2/2 wolves every turn and so you don't always have to cast another creature when you have lodestone in play if for somehow it came to that. This idea may or may not work but it's something that I am thinking about considering on how fast the format has gotten compared to when Faerie Stompy was considered to be one of the best decks.
Yes SoMaB can produce a blocker for green dorks, but wouldn't you rather steal it with a Sower? I mean youd most likely have Chalice@1 out already for Stp. Then QPM is the deal breaker since GSZenith circuments Chalice@2. So, then you must resort to Trinket Mage fetching Pithing Needle to name QPM, but at least theres a non stack solution.
Fabricate seems rather bad just because it means for a turn possibly you aren't casting threats but tutoring. This could put you behind significantly in this deck. Trinket Mage also tutors but comes with a body, plus he represents more copies of the most relevant stuff in the deck.
Lodestone Golem seems ok if your more prison'esque. It does make all ur dudes and Force cost more though so it seems rather dissynergistic. Perhaps if u added more artifact dudes this would work better. Just saying.
I had considered Spellskite ironically but I think it seems to cute, although Spellskite can attack if need be and keep removal off a dude. So, I want to experiment with him a bit as a sideboard supplement.
Phyrexian Revoker is a good maindeck creature in this deck since we have Chalice@1 to stave off 1cc removal spells. He also beats QPMage pre-emptively which is important being that Maverick is a Top Deck and you will face it in any decent Legacy event.
Really I am surprised no one plays this deck. Chalice@1 is amazing right now. I mean, I know Sea Drake is tough to get but he's pretty cheap these daze. I have no excuse I have the entire decklist, but NOWHERE to play lol. Im the lone legacy dude in south jersey. Here me roar.
Pretty much any matchup where I want Trinisphere, I side out Force of Will. Back to Basics just wins games. With all the Red decks, Weatherseed Faeries is a good choice.
I just wish Wizards printed a Timid Drake without a drawback.

Sower costs two blue which seems hard in a deck that runs several colorless sources of mana lands.
As for Lodestone Golem, I am fine with that one since I just like to play one threat and a bunch of equipment and just ride on the Golem for the win and the only reason why I am including Lodestone for me is that I like to have additional lock down cards that tend to help chalice out even more. I am usually pretty aggressive with playing chalice especially against decks that run brainstorm which actually makes sense since brainstorm is of course more powerful then any other card in Legacy. So if I can prevent my opponent from casting brainstorm optimally there is some prayer out there for a blue deck like Faerie stompy that doesn't run brainstorm.
I usually don't cast too many creatures with Faerie stompy since one creature with a bunch of equipment on it is good enough already but that's how I play Faerie stompy so my style probably is different from other people here. With equipment you don't have to overextend as much since one creature with 2 or 3 equipment out covers a ton of the battlefield for you.
I mean, I like to try some new cards that could make sense in this deck to try to get this deck off of the ground again. So in that case I try not to undervalue new innovation in a deck that people want to see more play in this format. New Innovation is actually a good thing for a deck that has been dormant for 5 or 6 years now.
Sower is decent as a 1-2 of and most likely Meta dependent. Like if you see bant or maverick. I think phyrexian revoker belongs maindeck. He shuts off pridemage and planeswalkers. He's decent utility and can carry a weapon. Other than that I think 6 equips are good. I run a split of jitte and sofai.
Going to test out Fettergeist in my Faerie Stompy list. I always wanted another decent flier for 2U. I was trying Extravagant Spirit for a while but it was too mana intensive to upkeep.
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
The latest, most competitive Faerie Stompy decks I've seen actually use Illusory Angel to decent success. They seem to have her replace Serendib Efreet. It's actually surprisingly easy to cast her with 4 Cloud of Faeries, 4 Chrome Mox (especially the Mox), and whatever other cheap stuff you get stuck in hand (e.g. spare Chalices).
Being a flying 3-cmc 4/4 is killer. She's bigger than Delver, doesn't trade with it, and hits harder than it.
This is what I have been playing around with. It works pretty well. Looter il-Kor probably should be a 4 of, I never regret having him on the table. Cloud of Faeries, Chrome Mox, and Chalice @ 0 enable the casting of Illusory Angel. Misthollow Griffin combos with Manipulate Fate, Chrome Mox, or Force of Will.
I would say yes because Misthollow Griffin essentially has protection from Swords to Plowshares.
Of course Sower of Temptation is a good card, I think I am going to put some in my sideboard eventually. But for the U/W match up, Misthollow is better. Plus Misthollow can be exiled via Chrome Mox, Force of Will, or Manipulate Fate and recast.

I like this deck and its cool interactions but after testing, I feel as if it just can't compete in modern Legacy anymore.
Unfortunately, I think that the power creep has passed this deck by. 4/3s and 4/4s for three mana used to be great, but at this point, it's only average.
Other decks get:
- 3/2 fliers for U
- 5/6 lifelink vigilance for 1W
- 2/1 body attached to any instant/sorcery in your graveyard for 1U
- 4/5 or 5/6 on average for 1G
- 3/3 for G
This is how I make mad money by doing what I already do, Shopping with Mr. Rebates. If you signup with my referral, send me an email and I will show you how to earn even more money.
SFM with a Batterskull attached. IMO, she's usually a 1/2 with a 4/4 with Vigilance and Lifelink for 1W, a turn's delay, and a future mana payment instead.
I'm glad someone else mentioned the misthollow griffin synergy, I've been testing it for a couple months now with lots of success. I never considered manipulate fate before, but I have been trying it as a 1 of lately. SoWaP was selected over SoFaI to help my match up against burn and RUG delver. Phyrexian revoker is a beast and should be a 4 of in faerie stompy imo. Here is my current list
The s/b is geared towards dredge, reanimator, RUG delver, maverick and BWG rock. I encounter those decks quite a bit in my meta. The matchup with omni show and tell is the most difficult I find. Overall this has been my favorite deck to play in a long time, it can be extremely explosive and I find it top decks much better than dragon stompy, my other pet deck. Exiling a misthollow griffin to FoW or the chrome mox always puts a smile on my face.

I had a list like this I was brewing up but I got stuck:
4 Ancient Tomb
10 Island
4 Chrome Mox
4 Trinket Mage
4 Serendib Efreet
4 Mulldrifter
3 Sower of Temptation
4 Ancestral Vision
4 Force of Will
4 Chalice of the Void
4 Relic of Progenitus
1 Pithing Needle
1 Sigil of Distinction
1 Chimeric Mass
2 Umezawa's Jitte
I see it not functioning well in practice.
I think you should go with -4 Relic of Progenitus and +4 Sea Drake.
Chimeric Mass is a nice find. I think I am going to try that out in my build over Engineered Explosives
4 Ancient Tomb
4 City of Traitors
9 Island
1 Seat of the Synod
