Your list is really unfocused. The first thing I would do is cut Abyssal Persecutor and its baggage (Therapy, Rite, Tower). From there, you have a choice. Do you want to play board control or do you want to be more aggressive?
If you want to be the control deck, cut the fast mana and add Goyf, Deed, Finks, Birds, Confidants. I'd cut one or two Tombstalker, but maybe you're braver than I am. I don't think the resulting Rock deck is going to be better than NO Rock, but I'll leave that for you to decide.
If you want to be more aggressive, cut Lotus Petal, Crop Rotation, Grim Discovery, etc. and make your list look like Eva Green.

I was considering running BoPs and making it into more of a rock build, but decided against it. Also, I wouldn't consider Therapy or Rites baggage. Rite of consumption is a way to hit your opponent with Marit Lage and bypass Summoning sickness. I've actually pulled off the turn 1 win with rituals, a thoughtseize/therapy and a couple rits. I agree that cutting out a petals might be a decent idea.
I'm staying away from Tarm (budget and ethical issues). Rotations stays in there, not only as a way to tutor Depths, but one of my SB lands. Crop rotation essentially reads: remove all cards in target players graveyard from the game, instants or sorceries you play become uncounterable, etc, etc. Again, this is a merger of MBC and Darkdepths. Green is splashed for effective tutoring. But yes, I'd rather focus on the control element since it fits more with the depths strategy. I weighing the benefits of running Pernicious Deeds atm. If you think that would be a good idea lmk. Thanks for the input.
The situation you just described with Rite of Consumption is the definition of win more.
This is a merger of MBC and Dark Depths insofar as it plays cards from both of those decks, but both of those decks work because they are focused on a single goal. You play a combo package of fast mana and tutors designed to combo off quickly, but with an inferior win condition to Tendrils. You also run a bunch of large beaters without the cards necessary to survive long enough to play them.

Sounds fair. Shoot me some suggestions of cards to secure the survival aspect (not including tarmogoyf). The only necessary tutor in my eyes would be crop rotation simply due to its versatility. What would you think of Deed? Any help works...I'm trying to make this thing work, thanks.
Also, if for instance I were to drop Depths and go towards an MBC or MBA model, what cards could help with that--in that case I'd be able to drop all of my rotation, though I probably still run the fetches for the purpose of filling the graveyard with more cards for Stalker.
I've seen some interesting Rock builds that try to incorporate Depths. Maybe you could run something like this? Knight of the Reliquary is huge and tutors for Depths. Finks, Deed, and a lot of removal stall aggro until you can win. Cabal Therapy is a lot better here, because you have Birds, Finks, and Witness to sacrifice to it. Obviously Tarmogoyf is hard to replace, but not running him does let you Deed for two more freely. You'll need a lot of sideboard hate and even more luck to beat combo, but that's par for the course for this kind of deck.

actually, I ended up nabbing some Jittes or trading my Depths, so I decided to go with an MBA build. It still has its own touch, but its a bit more focused now. Thanks for the help anyway.
There is a GB Depths deck already out there that has had mild success. It's often refered to as Eva Depths because it is the Depths combo thrown into an Eva Green shell. It's somewhat similar to your list, but any deck with green should at least have Tarmo in it. Here's a sample list...
Creatures:
4x Dark Confidant
2x Gatekeeper of Malakir
4x Tarmogoyf
2x Tombstalker
3x Vampire Hexmage
Non-Creature Spells:
4x Dark Ritual
4x Hymn to Tourach
3x Living Wish
3x Maelstrom Pulse
3x Smother
4x Thoughtseize
Sideboard:
2x Chalice of the Void
1x Dark Depths
3x Engineered Plague
1x Eternal Witness
2x Extirpate
3x Krosan Grip
2x Life from the Loam
1x Vampire Hexmage
I feel almost midly inclinded to start Primering it, but since I dunno how to make it look pretty I'm a bit less inclinded lol
how has it been working? how much experience do you have with it?
don't you think living wish is a wasted turn? just run sets instead?

1.) Anyone who thinks cancel is viable should be shot. in the face. with a hammer.
2.) You misunderstand, what I was suggesting was the total exclusion of Spellstutter Sprite, because it just isnt that good anymore.
3.) Understand, Dredge is not really a Magic: The Gathering deck. When a card is playable in it, it doesn't mean it's a tournament playable card. It means it's playable in whatever crazy fantasy world that Dredge operates in.
Eva Depths is a deck I've seen several times, but haven't yet played (still grabbing a couple of missing cards for the deck) though I'm looking forward to doing so, all I can say about how it performs is that I've seen it 3-1 in 4 round swiss for an MTGO event, not necessarily T1 material, but I see possibilities for it
The above list is what I'm building up to, but I have seen it without the Wish, I think the wish would be a nice way to grab up pieces of the combo.. I want to test it before making the change, but I've seen it where it had wish and almost a singleton sideboard for more creature based answers
I've seen the loams main deck, using Troll Ascetic, Deeds, Jitte to turn it aggro, smallpox, things like that.. this is my intended deck for MTGO so its missing the Sinkholes
the thing with HexDepths is that it can be worked into most deck shells so this fits it into Eva Green
why/when would you ever board in loams? seems kind of odd.
are you saying that this would be better with sinkholes? in place of what?
personally i would rather have 2 more duress maindecked than gatekeepers. but thats just me.
i played agaisnt a near identical deck tonight, and he was having fits that i sworded two of this tokens... but of course, like a champ, he actually got a third one, and proceded to win.

I don't think vines is worth it. Especially since it's so G heavy. If you want stuff to deal with StP, I'd consider Apostle's Blessing. Some Wastelands to deal with Karakas and Maze of Ith is also highly recommended. Crucible without Wasteland also seems like a missed opportunity. I'd also cut a Crop Rotation and run 4 Deathrites. If you can get a hold of Confidants and Tops, that would be good as well.
I want to add Sensei's Divining Top but I'm not sure what to swap out. I thought maybe a Pernicious Deed or an Inquisition of Kozilek but I think those cards are where they need to be at, at the moment.
