The 1 drop unblockable don't provide any utility, I wouldn't play them over a card like Signal Pest.
What is the utility on Ornithopter? The role would be the Ornithopter replacement, not the signal pest replacement. That being said, there is also utility in being bluu. An enabler that is pitachable is the role I want it for.
Ornithopter is free, therefore it's a free Ninjustsu target every turn. That's utility.

Played my deck at GP Providence today in one of the side events.
1-2 against Stone Blade
0-2 Against Infect
2-1 Against Manaless dredge.
I won game 1 against stone blade, and then lost to Stoneforge for Jitte + True-Name Nemesis. I didn't sideboard my Massacre in, which in hindsight should have been brought in. But Jitte in general is an issue for the deck. Not sure what B/U has for reasonable answers. Maybe more hand disruption?
Infect I just didn't have a good answer for inkmoth nexus, and spellstutter is not very good as a counter as invigorate costs 3 and become immense costs 6. Having wastelands may have helped, but unsure.
Manaless dredge I literally just mulled to a leyline G2 and G3, so nothing much to write home about.
Wish I could get more testing, but I think the deck may want something like spell snare as a way to interact going second. Daze puts you very far behind, force costs cards, which isn't the biggest issue as ninjas can get your hand size back, but you don't always have it.
Mediocre performance, but useful data points. Really need MTGO to get commander cards as I don't have a lot of local legacy options
Is there a reason why many of the recent lists here don't feature bitterblossom? i can't imagine it being weak, especially if you hide it under a standstill. I'm imagining a list with 4 delvers, 4 judge's familiar, 4 cloud of faeries and 4 bitterblossom, some number of ninja of the deep hours, spellstutter sprites, vendillion clique and just riding the indecision of your opponents to victory. thing is, with both bitterblossom AND judge's familiar under the standstill, you 'telegraph' to your opponent that you have a soft-counter, so they have to build up MORE mana before they can break the standstill (giving you MORE faeries to ninja in/hard counter in the form of spellstutter sprites)
