scion is probably a good call, but i would still keep standstill and writ(because after play testing, and continually bouncing a pancake flipper against bant w/NO i beat it. he had cb/t in play. another card in red, more specifically gobos, is sharpshooter. it kills all the fae+mistblade.
Scion of Oona seems really good. I could also see a black splash for bitterblossom in place of standstill, but im not sure if that would strengthen the deck. When your opponent cracks standstill, its major boon, but bitterblossom actively helps you win...

Now here are my concerns, I feel like I have control for the first four turns, Then I feel like I lose it thus I would like to adjust il kor to something bigger, or more equipment.
I only run 3 mistblade because You dont want to many ninjitsu in your opening hand and same goes for why there is only 3 ornithopters.
I feel like this deck just needs a little bigger threat, do you guys think the best option is Higure? or is there another route I can go.
The little guys just don't do it on there own.
Also after toying around have you guys thought about throwing meekstone in the side or even main board, just an idea.
Typically I don't ask for advice ,but I will take some now if anyone has ideas or thoughts I'll be playing this deck monday and see how it fairs.
actually i have been looking at meekstone as well but in my meta folk is slowly rotating out to zoo which can get by easily sub3. also i have been thinking about testing gilded drake but havent gotten around to it.
While a white splash in the deck for Swords/Path is a great idea, Aven Mimeomancer seems weak and a bit slow. I don't think he would help out our Zoo/Canadian Thresh MU. At least he doesn't interfere with Jitte, like Scion of Oona.

I'm sticking to a mono-blue build primarily because of budget reasons, and also because I've never really found the need (nor the space) for other non-blue cards. I've also cut the manlands and have opted to go down to just 18 Islands, as I get mana-flooded a lot. I don't want to fit colorless lands within the 18 lands because the color requirements for keeping the tempo up with the deck is really heavy.
That said, I love the deck as it is right now with my build. Also, I've been fondly referring to it now as Blue Bomber, as I can just imagine the Fae dropping Ninjas on the opponents from the sky. I love the Megaman reference as well.
@kicks: Don't ever cut down on manlands in a deck with Standstill. It doesn't have to be Mutavault if it's for budget reasons (would be better obviously, because of the interaction with Spellstutter), but you need some kind of manland. When I first put together the deck, I ran Faerie Conclave, which is nowhere near the power of Mutavault, but it gives you another Ninjutsu outlet under Standstill. You might also want to try Mishra's Factory.
Running manlands just because you have Standstill isn't really a good argument. Sure. it's a valid argument, but not a particularly strong one. Attacking for 2 under a Standstill isn't as techy as it used to be. Having a Ninjutsu outlet under a Standstill, that I can agree with. However, I've just felt the need to cut down on mana to stock up on more business spells, as well as the high colored mana requirements of the deck.
@.nemesis
You make a convincing argument. The Mimeomancer is a lot stronger than he seems at first glance, and he serves a role that this deck needs: a powerful game ender. I'll be trying him out on MWS (still not convinced on the vials though), but not IRL until i get my lazy arse off the computer and find a job. Duals ain't free.:-/

However I will suggest this, in the deck that splashes white for Aven Mimeomancer including a engine like enlightened tutor might be useful. The deck above uses trinket mage to tutor a few cards but no way to really get at jitte. While his whole board is packed with artifacts and enchantments. The enlightened tutor seems interesting, while making your deck more aggro toolboxy which might help with matchups.
Coming out of nowhere:
if you stick no mono-U, I suggest a card no one know about; Mask of the Mimic. Its been EXTREMELY good for me. If you have a Spellstutter Sprite in play, it means:
U
Sacrifice a (now) useless ornithopter to put a 1/1 onto the battlefields. Counter target spell.
If not, it can accelerate you by turn two sacrifice thopter for a 2nd Mutavault, which usually hurt. Another situation his against aggro, if we attack, you block with (lol thopter again) anycreature, playing mask to get another creature which means you didn't lose any. And you can get a 2nd Ninja of the deep hour. =D
Well just pointing out this card exist and gave me top 8 at local tournement =D
It plays a bit differently than a more traditional build of FNS, but the shroud/buffs supplied by Scion gives us a faster clock. And Aether vial allows for some neat plays.
The slots I'm unsure of are the Zephyr Sprite and Spell Snare slots. I've thought of running echoing truth here, or spell pierce. I'm not sure how great Spell Snare is in today's metagame. Only testing will tell. (my sideboard is the same as Dissolution's v4)
-edit: i think 4 Ornithopters may be the best choice for those weird slots. It's better than Zephyr Sprite at what it does (albeit not a fairy).

I took a fairly different version of the deck to a tourney yesterday, and ended up second. Basically, I took out the Ornithopter for four 'Goyf, had three Umezawa in the deck, four Aether Vial, and a tonne of tech.
But, not sure if UG or UW would've been better. Heck, even Bant could work, maybe. I only splash Green for 'Goyf, anyway, and White would only be for Aven and StP or Mirror Entity. Can't decide what to run yet.

I max out at three in the UW build, two in the UG build, and two in the Mono U build.
For UW, you need to have three for Mirror Entity/Aven Mimeomancer, UG you only need two because of 'Gofy, and really only want two in the Mono U build to fuel Spellstutter Sprite.

Has anyone tried Man-o-War in versions willing to vial up to 3, in place of the if I'm unblocked bounce a guy ninja? I'd think end step bounce and a rush on turn 4 or 5 is probably where you are looking to close the game.
As far searching for Jitte. Muddle the Mixture is a useful counterspell on it's own and gets you your Jitte (or a Sprite), and can be pitched.
I'll put this bluntly. If a really cool, unique guy went up to a normal girl, and is ugly, he's weird. if he goes up and is hot, then he's cool and unique.
Standard
It's like watching grass grow, except it's ridculously expensive.
UW can deal pretty well because of Mirror Entity and StP. If you need it, Aven Mimeomancer can help, too. UG can 'Goyf them.
I run two Chalice of the Void in each build, anyway, and haven't had a problem with Zoo or Merfolk yet.
Yeah, the mirror entity is pretty much a powerhouse against small burn. I had this lasting image in my head about fairies that all the creatures are little and are easily wiped away but now with mirror entity you can make them all beasties for not that much mana.

This deck seems like a blast to play, and any deck running 4x Standstill instantly makes me happy. I do have a question, though. Why would someone run this deck as opposed to Merfolk? It seems like merfolk has a very similar strategy, but has a quicker clock, and a more stable gameplan. On the same note, what does this deck do against merfolk, besides the obvious Propaganda in the sideboard? I really want to give this deck a try, but I think with the rise of Merfolk, this deck wouldn't fair too well.
