I don't like Spellsplitter, mostly because you'd have to cut something good to put it in. What would you cut for it? The list is getting pretty tight.
It's really just a substitution effect that costs mana/life to activate. And if you don't have the Vial, it's super easy to play around.
If you wanted a similar effect, you could just play Kira, Great Glass Spinner (although that does negate equipment).
I can see Hex Parasite being good in control-heavy metas. It can take out Planeswalkers without even batting an eye. But even then, I'm not sure if it'll make the cut.
Then again, it could be really good against Aether Vials.
Opponent activates Vial, in response, you Vial in Hex Parasite and remove the charge counters on her vial. Now she has to Vial in a creature with 0CC, which she doesn't have.

I didn't think about the vials at all. That's true! Mind me but, you can also use your own vials if needed. That would make extra vials available resoucres for the bug. Plus it could help you get your vial down if needed.
I really like this bug, seems like a pretty good card. I could see it with some Commulative Upkeep cards too.
As for my SB. I've changed it so many times already. As of now it is:
3 of each: Relic of Progenitus, Ethersworn Cannonist, Perish, Annul and Spell Snare.
Is there any particular reason why you're running Relic over Tormod's Crypt? The 0CC seems better for getting Mox Opal active on turn 1.
How good has Annul really been? It seems really narrow. o_O
If you'd like to add Chalice of the Void, I think you could consider cutting either Spell Snare or Annul, whichever one gets sided in less in your meta.

Ive boarded in Annul one too many times. I love it already. It has to do with the fact that the past days i've played against so many enchantment decks. From Sneak and Tell to Leylines.deq to this weird ass deck full of annoying cards such as humility, O-Ring, wasteland/Crucible. Aura of Silence... and everything you can imagine. I lost so badly against it. Terribly bad. It even made me consider disenchant or Back to Natureas Sideboard Options.
As for relic over Tormod its because it can slowly chip away cards. It turns lavamages into 1/1 vanilla guys. It nets me card advantage if needed be, and in case of emergencies it cripples tarmos to 0/1 babies.
Mox Opal only needs 1 CMC 1 artifact to go active turn 1. I consider we're not in any hurry ti play CMC2 cards turn 1. There is no card in here that could bennefit from such thing. Prevoker needs information to work. Jitte/Cranial need a creature. I'd much rather play a turn 1 certarch, and turn 2 (with a now active opal) play plating/equip it. Or play Jitte. Or whatever.
On a side note. I tried Tarnished Citadel over City of Brass. It's good. But I'm guessing Brass is better.
In that case, you'd be better off playing Disenchant/Tempest of Light.
Your deck doesn't actually require too much mana to curve out (Aether Vial, cheap dudes), and the only time you really need mana is for the high CC things (MoE, Tezzeret, hardcast FoW), which also happen to be colored anyway. So I think City of Brass would be better.

Sorry, I've been feeling very sick today. Just a quick note, let's see..
I don't think Challice should be a maindeck answer. I don't see it helping unless we already know what we're going against. And if anything i'll be playing challice for 1 or 0. I'm not getting it all the way to two counters. Seems kind of hard. However, a Challice at 1 can kill so many decks. Same goes for challice at 0. So, i do think it's a good SB tech. As of now I'm not running any CMC0 cards. And CMC1 cards are Vial and Certarch so it seems like a good SB tech imo.
But IMHO I don't see it as a Maindeck card. Plus I don't want to replace City of Brass. It's too important to fix color for tezz. And I really love Sculler. I find it really hard to let it go. :S
Sorry, but could you update your original post? I just want to see what list you're currently running there, and it would make it easier for more people to join this discussion.
I've kinda run out of ideas.

I'm on my iPod ATM. Once I get home
I'll update the first post. I'll add a "Curtently being tested" part to it so as not to play with the shell of this build and do allow different approaches to it.
As for the numbers. It takes care of Stp, PtE, it potentially deals with Shattering sprees if set to 1. It deals with Lightning Bolt/Chain lightning. It kills elves, it kills high tide, Extirpates, Entombs, reanimate, goblin lackey, kills LEDs, kills combo.
Geez, after writing this down I kind of convinced myself to try it hahaha.

Figure of Destiny, Grim Lavamancer, Wild Nacatl, Lightning Bolt,Chain lightning, Path to Exile, Noble Hierarch, Mother of Runes, Æther Vial, Brainstorm, Ponder, Stifle, Dark Ritual, Duress, Thoughtsize, Inquisition of Kozilek, Rite of Flame, Chain of Vapor, Pyroblast, Hydroblast, Nimble Mongoose, Spell Snare, Spell Pierce, Pithing Needle,Sensei's Divining Top,Extirpate,Entomb,Goblin Lackey,Green's Sun Zenith,Cabal Therapy,..........
well' numbers may be lower. i just picked some (common in my meta) decks from deckcheck.org and analyzed cc of those cards.
(zoo,rogue,ant,threshold,bant,affinity,dredge,...)
Hahaha if this was a naming CMC1 played cards you'd have already won there hahaha.
I do like Chalice. However I didn't like it MD. It's an awesome SB tech though. Once I know what I'm against that is.
On a side note: I just vialed in 3 Tidehollow Scullers xDD 1 EOT, 2 in my Turn. It felt soooo good!
I like Tidehollow Sculler because (for me, in the games I have been playing recently on MWS) he is a big fat target for removal. The number of times I have taken a lightning bolt with him is quite large, and they usually waste a piece of removal on him just to get it back, which I find funny. I have to say this deck is staggeringly fun to play when it is playing well. I mean, I just beat a threshold player (old school UGR thresh) by beating face with an etched champion wielding a Jitte.
I just had an elves combo player scoop to me because I had a Vedalken Certrarch to tap down his 1 Gaea's Cradle every turn (Phyrexian revoker goes a long way in the elves matchup).
I am only playing 1 Jitte, 4 cranial plating because I topdeck like a pro (and because in most cases I find cranial plating strictly better, especially when I have an etched champion). Time after time, Aether Vial is the best card in the deck. I win so many matches having instant-speed Prevoker, Champion, and Master. Sculler hasn't really won games for me - he just always ends up the target for removal, as does Master. Etched champion is the MVP.
Something is still not right with the deck, and I can't decide whether it is the stupid MWS shuffling system or the deck. I think I need to put this together and start playing in real life with it.
About the Ancient Tomb/Chalice possibilities, I definitely don't think it belongs in this deck specifically. But I am glad the other thread popped up with it in a more aggro-ish perspective. Tomb/Chalice seems cumbersome in the extreme to try and fit in this build.
I don't think any of the cards leaked from New Phyrexia so far belong in the maindeck here. The Spellspitter is a good card and has some good possibilities in the sideboard to be boarded in against removal-heavy decks playing STP/Doom Blade/smother/ghastly demise etc. He seems awfully conditional though, and without a vial active to slap him into play, he can be played around. But I will definitely try him out as a 2-of once the set becomes legal.

I feel the same about Tomb/Challice. It took me a couple games to realize it's not MD stuff. Ias for the jitte singleton. I don't topdeck like a pro, i have the worst topdeck luck ever xDD So I run 2 copies just in case.
As for the Sculler. It's amazing how it plays with your oponents removal. Just yesterday I played it, opponent revealed a hand which contained Wrath of God, path to exile and other stuff that wasn't of importance.
Took out his path, so he had to wrath his walls in order to recover his path haha. Then EOT I vialed in an Etched Champion. It's just soo good! It takes hits for the team! such a champ
I'll be around MWS for a couple hours. IF you happen to be around we should test the deck against diferent archetypes! Come back to me if you're around!!
I changed my mind about Spellsplitter. It actually seems like it could be good, but only against control decks with low threat density.
It essentially nullifies the StP in their hand when you have a lot of damage on board. idk about your deck, since it seems to rely more on disruption with few attackers, but since the quality of your dudes are higher, it might be worth it.
It seems narrow, but has blowout potential if it's Vialed in.
Also, is Thoughtcast not good for your build? It seems powerful in the later stages of the game.

Spellsplitter will need extensive testing. It sure as hell will help us save MoE/Prevokers. However it does seem like a narrow card. We'll have to wait for the complete spoiler to be there. Let's keep in mind affinity came to be what it is mostly because of commons/uncommons so. Hopefully we'll be gettnig some top-notch cards that we could exploit.
Thoughtcast not being good? I run 4 of them? O.o I guess you confused a card in there hehe
EDIT: I just played against this guy from Beijing. He was running Tendrils/LED. He said he had played against this deck several times before. Guess this deck is gaining popularity! Thumbs up for all of us!!

I'm actually from Boston, I'm just studying abroad in Beijing (Yay nitpicking) but yeah What I have picked up from the TES vs NeoAffinity matchup is if you don't get down at least 2 pieces of hate you just really can't win. But otherwise I certainly see the merits of this over Standard affinity.
Ok, I've been testing more and more. I'm almost confident on this being the optimal build so far. I just can't think of better cards. And it can deal with almost anything tossed at it. So... now I'll start to build it IRL (:
Hey Aluren... just a quick question... what're your thoughts on Thirst for Knowledge, for some additional card draw. Just threaten counterspell mana, then play it at the end of their turn... Would give extra fuel for vials, at that point, too.
Just wanted to hear your opinion on it, if it might have a home in your build at all.

It would certainly be good for the extra vials/moxen once they are in play. Or even the Artifact lands for the matter. However at 3 mana I'd rather be casting or equipping items.
Now then, truth be told, there are very few times in which I do cast MoE/EC when im standing on 3 mana alone, since most of the time I vial them in. (I'm WAY to afraid of Daze) So it could potentially have a home in here.
The problem is, that as of now there is no space in the deck to fit those in. The only thing that I could think of replacing is Thoughtcast for them. But then again, thoughcast is the only Affinity card perse in the deck. Removing it would leave this as an Affinityless Neofinnity so...
Besides, I think THoughcast is much better than Thirst. Since it effectively costs to draw 2 cards. Whereas Thirst costs :2mana::symu: for the same effect.
I do think however that if this card is to be played, it should go into a different aproach of this deck. One that relies on Goblin Welder. It has potential for a good URB build. This however would run Tezzeret the Seeker rather than agent of bolas. And it wouldn't be that much of an affinity deck. More like an artifact synergy deck.
So writing that down I made up my mind. Thirst for Knowledge isn't a good choice for this deck. It belongs in decks that could potentially recurr gravehard. TBH I could even see an Artifact deck with Reanimate.
Imagine this: EOT Thirst for Knowledge, draw a reanimate/goblin welder, and discard your big fattie. Then Vial in the Welder and in your turn activate it. Or Play Reanimate. It has a lot of potential IMO
I think I might be open to trying out Thirst for Knowledge. Drawing multiple Mox can be very annoying, and I don't think there necessarily needs to be any sort of graveyard recursion. Thirst for Knowledge is good because it is an instant. I am pondering cutting two cards and trying it as a 2-of. However, I don't expect this to work out, because it might just be too expensive to be able to cast in a not of matches. I think I'll cut 1 Mox Opal and 1 Thoughtcast.
One thing I have been noticing about this deck is that against removal-heavy decks, it is easy to run out of threats. 75% of games are won with an Etched Champion wielding a Cranial Plating simply because it is almost invincible. The rest of the games are won with Either a Tezzeret, or a fast Master of Etherium.
As far as match-ups go, I have encountered a few problematic ones while testing. Mono-W Death and Taxes is a whore of a match-up. They have a lot of tricks with targeted permanent removal and STP/PTE, not to mention all the bouncing tricks with Flickerwisp/Stonecloaker. The only way to beat them game 1 is to get a Plating on a Etched Champion or an early Tezzeret (since they can take a while to get their aggro online). Post-board, the match-up is nigh unwinnable as they bring in various artifact-hate cards, namely Pithing Needle/Kataki/hate.
Another bad one can be The Gate or mono-black. They usually have Innocent Blood/Gatekeeper of Malakir to make us sac our few creatures ( bye-bye Etched Champion ), and discard to remove our other threats. Post board they bring in Null Rod and I have even seen a Nevinyrral's Disk :'(. This could easily be one of our worst matchups, and I am not sure what to do about it.
However, the more popular decks such as the blue aggro variants (Bant, Countertop, Merfolk, etc) are really quite favorable.
Dredge is not so good of a matchup, and Combo isn't game 1, but improves after sideboarding.

I think our worst MUs are Pox and enchantress. I just don't see a way to deal with Pox though. As for Enchantress, I think we could play around with our Sideboard a little more. Been seriously considering to add maybe one or two Back to Nature We can play those off the City of brass/Mox opal. And all we need is one to win. That deck takes a lot of time to set up. So that nets us a lot of time to dig for that card. What are your thoughts about it? Or even a Nova Cleric EOT Vial it in.
As for the cards out there, those two are the ones that caught my eyes.
I'd love to Instant speed vial that SpellSplitter in response to anything targeting my MoE D: It's a house against Goblins as well.
It adds shattering sprees a clause that reads: If this targets a creature, you may pay or 2 life to save it :3
well... kind of.. you get it

MY SALES THREAD!

Anyone got anything to report?

Though they do run Replenish. So how about Harmonic Convergence.
As for Pox. We need Black Hosers. I'm no good with that. any ideas?
EDIT:
I've been pondering... How about adding Leyline of the Void to Sideboard?
