So, I wanted to play with Hymn to Tourach, and thought building a deck around it might be fun. Due to the restrictive prices of Legacy, I wanted to create the best version of the deck before I invest any money in it. The thought of the deck is to limit the opponents resources, and have them dying to the rack. I am new to the format, so I am not certain on how best to build the deck. The manabase has especially been hard to get right. At the moment I feel I often flood out, but that might be due to limited card draw.
Deck list:
This seems ok possibly? i think there's value in playing rogue decks that the opponent has no idea what it's up against.
That being said, what's the actual strategy? pure discard and resource denial?
If you're still interested in trying to make this work, might i suggest switching watery grave for anything else (the loss of 2 life isn't synergistic with anything else i can see), upping brainstorm to 4, possibly the same with ponder. I'm not sure what you're planning to do with cabal therapy - are you going to be able to flash it back without losing too much tempo yourself? if you consider you have hypnotic spectre or vendilion clique in play - would you sac any of them to flash it back? if not, consider inquisition of kozilek or maybe even a duress.
I'm also wondering if 18 mana-producing lands (i.e. not wastelands) is enough. you have a somewhat higher curve than RUG or DnT, AND play a resource denial game, but with a top curve of 3cmc. Also, you have snapcaster mages. not sure if that's going to be enough.
Daze im not 100% convinced of either. its a soft counter that loses effectiveness quick (and I'm not sure if you can either keep the pressure on AND deny resources at the same time effectively enough). i'm probably wrong here though, but I'm having a tough time seeing it.
did dream salvage not do enough? i'd imagine in your deck, if things are going correctly, you'd be drawing 2-3 cards off it. for 1 mana, that's pretty good! How does waste not play? i imagine that it's highly variable - so when you're winning, it wins more, but when you're behind, it doesn't do anything.
i might not be able to help much in developing this deck though, but if you had some sort of deck mantra/main strategy that you're going for (outside of playing hymns), i might be able to help (though black discard as a strategy isn't something i've played since the late '90s!)

Card Choices:
Fetchlands - I play that many due to the horrible feeling of brainstorming without any way of shuffling away the refuse.
Strategy/Matchups:
I have had a bad time against aggro decks, and decks that go wide.
History:
I previously had Liliana's caress, but it really felt bad, as it rarely did anything. Same thing with Dream Salvage
