EDIT: Nevermind, some people are playing it and some people aren't. I have just been browsing Legacy threads to try and find a deck to play, I had no idea if there was a great reason to not be playing him or not.
Blightsteel is a good card against certain decks. A combo or storm deck will get instantly killed by blightsteel but some aggro decks with a goyf of something will be resiliant.
If you don't get the kill, then you get mixed damage and its weird.
Im personally using Rune-Scarred Demon as my secondary sneak attack creature. Thats demonic tutor demon to some people. Anyway, I don't think you can ever go wrong with demonic tutor. Most of the time I grab emrakul to sneak attack again but somtimes Emrakul just doesn't get there and you have to grab the hate cards instead.
For example, dredge has 6 unlucky zombie tokens to sacrifice and a stinkweed imp to chump. Emrakul is obviously no good at this point. Rune-Scarred demon however can remedy the situtation by downloading a Massacre Wurm for an Insta-Kill.
I don't recommend running 4 rune-scarred demon though. They are a terrible Show and Tell target unless you are playing against a deck that doesn't do anything like Tendrills, then you can just fetch flusterstorm or mindbreak trap and sit there.
I decided on a build with 3x daze and 3x mental misstep maindeck. I took out jace. I find him being just too slow.
I played a local tournament today and I think thats probably best. Sneak Attack, like hive mind is a deck that just sits there until you assemble the combo. Mental misstep is a great way to stop random 1 drops that just race you. Turn 1 Aether Vial is a definite misstep target. I also like protecting my 1 mana cantrips against enemy missteps because I always find that brainstorm gives way more value than possibly 2 life and 1 card.
In terms of matchup, I really like how this deck matched against NO RUG or Stoneforge. Against NO RUG, I just board in Red Blast to get rid of Jace and Vendilion Clique and various trouble cards to protect your combo. NO RUG can't really race your deck as long you don't let natural order resolve. You would probably get your combo before they get theirs.
Stoneforge is even easier. A resolved Blood Moon singlehandedly wins you the game. Gets rid of man lands, wastelands, and keeps them off double blue for jace which can bounce stuff. Stoneforge also doesn't race you very well. Turn 2 stoneforge, turn 4 attack with batterskull isn't very fast.
Merfolk on the other hand is probably the worst matchup. A turn 1 Aether Vial might just beat you. They can race your combo if they simply resolve a lot of "stuff" and they have counter magic to match. I would heavily sideboard against this deck. Lots of red blasts, firespouts, and maybe Llwans to stop them from racing you.
I settled on 4 Emrakul, 2 Blightsteel, 2 Progenitus.
Blightsteel is a weak show and tell target because he loses to STP and echoing truth. Progenitus is a much better show and tell creature.
On the flip side, Progenitus is a terrible sneak attack target. straight 10 damage usually doesn't get there alone. While Blightsteel for the hated infect gets there most of the time. Its a very sneaky card since the opponent will always tap out creatures to properly race you.
I have been waiting since MM baning for someone to start conversation on how good they think this deck will be in the new meta. But I guess I will just ask.
I think sneak and show will be good in the new meta. sneak and show cards have protection, Yet also offer ways to help wipe the field i.e. annihilator 6 with emrukal and woodfall primus for hate. I think with aggro going to be rampent, but also have plenty of midrange and some strom. The deck also offer stifle in the sb for storm tigger. I think sneak and show is in a good pistion. What do others think of this deck for the new meta?
I really like the list other than the low counter magic only runs 4 Fow. I played test it against UB merfolk did 2-1 first time, I was still running MM which I think is close to a dead card. So the deck is easier disurpted now with spell pierce and daze relevant again I think there should be high counter count! Dispel maybe? can counter all opposing counter magic, but is dead against cards disurption. So would spell pierce be better? What should be removed in the list for 2-3 counterspells? -1woodfall primus -1jace maybe?
Thoughts??

I would either cut the seething songs or some Lotus Petal. Im only using 3 Lotus Petals in my deck. Its not something you always like to draw, and definitely something you don't want two copies of.
I might cut down to 8 creatures. Redundant creatures is even worse than extra mana ramp.
I also cut Jace from my deck. When playing against decks with stuff, hes just a really expensive brainstorm. You can't protect him in any way except using his unsummon, then hes just a really expensive unsummon.
My counter package includes 4 FoW, 4 Daze, 2 Misdirection, 2 Spell Pierce.
Most decks don't win once you Snow and Tell a creature in; it's not worth "improving" the small percentage that one less turn will do versus adding in a card that does nothing with Sneak Attack, is horrible on its own, and also makes your opponent's deck faster if they are running creatures. Also, if they Show and Tell a Knight of the Reliquary in, your Emrakul will get bounced regardless.

Would Sundial of the Inifite work as a good sideboard card in this deck? It would definitely destroy its number one traitorous brother, Hive Mind, and with Sneak Attack out it would give you the creature you put out indefinitely.
Also, what about Iona, Shield of Emeria as a creature? She works well with Show and Tell against some decks, and if needed, she can work as a silence for your opponent's turn against 1-2 color decks. Sneak attack her out at the end of the upkeep on their turn and prevent them from doing a LOT for that turn. Even if you do have to sac her, it stalls them one turn completely for you to do your thing.

Iona is just bad. If you have a sneak attack out in play and mana open. You simply want to 6 for 1 them immediately. Nothing else matters.
The only thing I want to add to the deck is a better accelerant than lotus petal. Lotus petal is a one time use, which is kinda bad unless you win immediately.
I was thinking of Izzet signet. Its a blue and red fixer and can be cast turn 1 off an Ancient Tomb. Allowing you to cast Jace with it and still cast the combo the following turn. Sometime lotus petal cannot do.
Progenitus, since it has protection from everything, has protection from lands, legendary permanents, and Karakas.
Wipe Away, since it can target any permanent, is a pretty hilarious way of temporarily dealing with Karakas. (It's better with Sneak Attack.)
I've read that some Sneak Show decks have adopted Jace TMS to combat other Jace TMS's; that card is also a win-con in a pinch that doesn't get hampered by Karakas.

Thanks for the info. Is there a primer for a Show and Tell NO Bant deck. Basically Show and Tell Emrakul, Natural order into Progenitus hybrid type deck
What does everyone think of Curse of Echoes in this deck instead of maybe the Jace slot. The extra mana is weird but if it hits the table, its big trouble for a lot of decks. It cost 1 less colored mana which is also good.
It allows one sided countermagic.
Discard is funny as they 2 for 1 themselves every time.
Its auto-win against burn if you Show and Tell it one turn 2 (you can counter their burn spells to bridge the gap).
People can cantrip for you.
Its only weird against aggro decks but I think Jace was just as awkward against aggro decks.
It doesn't even matter, you should already auto-win against non-blue decks.

How would this card possibly be good? If you want a similar effect, play Hive Mind and Pacts and win on the spot. Don't take up space with garbage enchantments when you just be playing Jace or more fatties, especially when they give an effect that's completely unneeded in the deck.
My creature package has been different from the one that Top 16ed the Open. I'm running Rune-Scarred Demon as a kind of toolbox for Sneak Attack. It's a little less impressive than most of the normal targets off SnT, but it's still pretty strong and gives the deck a ton of flexibility.
Impulse is bad. It a 2 drop that can get hit by all the Spell Snares in the format. Current this deck is good because a lot of tier 1 blue decks runs a set or at least 2 Spell Snares as dead cards.
This deck seriously has to be one of my favorites to play, also Impulse is a very bad idea in my opinion because of spell snare a good percent of the legacy meta usally is something blade with spell snares also rug delver has them also.

Why do you have Spell Snare in the deck. Are you expecting games to go long and you want to counter Tarmogoyf or Stoneforge Mystics? Or they are actually Spell Pierces?
I think Emrakul is always a 4 of. Its the go-to creature against most decks. Definitely the go to creature when you have Sneak Attack.

I played in a money tourney this weekend where first was $250. I won with my sneak and show deck and there was 30 people and lots of out of town people the other funny note about me is i was the only undefeated all day and when the top 8 sat down they all wanted to split but i said nope i can win LOL . But here is what i played against at the tourney.
round 1 was against burn
round 2 was against goblins
round 3 was against reanimater
round 4 against maverick
round 5 we id to the top 8 cause we went to get food
The quarter-round of top 8 i played the reanimater girl again and i won
semi-finals of the top 8 i played against esper blade the same guy from last Saturday
the finals was against dredge the funny thing about that game was the turn 1 show and tell into blight steel colossus to his stink weed imp! and in game 2 i just had the nuts draw against him of daze, 2 spell pierce and 2 surgicals plus 2 land and an intuition.
Here is the new list that i took with me to the tourney i did some slight changes because i thought i would play against more esper blade there was 6 there, 4 goblins, 1 show and tell natural order deck, 2 dredge, zoo , ascension, 2 maverick, reanimater, a past in flames deck, 2 delver rug, blue red delver, 3 burn decks,a BUG deck, and then some other random stuff i wasn't watching.
18 lands :
4 volcanic islands
2 ancient tombs
2 city of traitors
4 scalding tarn
2 misty rainforest
1 arid mesa
2 islands
1 mountain
the rest of the deck :
3 emrakuls
3 progenitus
2 blight steel colossus
1 massacre wurm
1 blood moon
1 preordain
3 ponder
4 brainstorm
4 intuition
4 force of will
3 daze
3 spell snare
4 show and tell
4 sneak attack
3 lotus petals
side board:
1 elesh norn grand cenobite
1 terrastadon
1 woodfall primus
1 blood moon
2 misdirection
3 spell pierce
3 red elemental blast
3 surgical extractions
Well that's my list that i played Saturday and i will admit that some of the regular that i play with at my local game store don't like the deck lol and would rather play against a different combo deck than mine ha ha!
