Any arguments against minamo, school at water's edge. Sure they have wasteland, but I think its still worth having one in.
I don't think untapping after attacking matters in this deck. If you attack with emrakul, you have more than likely won. Progenitus? I don't think you can Target him. I would rather have a basic island. I guess what I what to know is why would you bother with that card? What makes it so good that you would risk wasteland?
Is it that bad if they wasteland it? I mean usually its going to be volcanic island anyway. Can be used for griselbrand as well as emrakul. Doesnt seem like you have much to lose imo.
Okay after some more testing, I removed minamo, school at water's edge. Price of progress hurts us alot =\ and we rarely have enough mana to use the ability (cant be used with sneak anyway).
whats your thoughts on spy network the card reveals so much information and digs for answers or show and tell/Creature/sneak and show the only problem I see with it is that it doesn't disrupt your opponents hand and you don't draw off it :/

Legacy decks I play:
RUG RUG Delver GUR GW Maverick RWG BGWRU LED Faithless DredgeURWGB GCombo elves G R Burn R G Infect pumpG BUR AffinityRUB GWR Zoo RWG GWRU Hypergenesis UR RBG Aggro loam GBR
That sounds about right. 14 is really common. It really depends how many times you tapped your ancient tomb. If you tapped it to play around Daze or for Intuition, you can be as low as 10-12.
At that point Emrakul should be fine especially if it is off a Sneak Attack. Show and Tell + Progenitus is really flaky as deck likes Maverick can easily drop a Knight of the Reliquary and match your 2 turn clock. There was this time when I had to block Knight of the Reliquary with Progenitus and the Knight didn't even die >_<
Gristlebrand is absurd in this deck. At least with the other two cards there is a chance to react, but Gristlebrand wins with the first activation. If the opponent has StP, a second activation ensures a FoW or Mis-D can be found.

Right now, I'm running 4 Emrakul, 3 Progenitus, and 2 Griselbrand, but I'm wondering whether I should switch to 3 Griselbrand for my Intuition piles to fight through hate. Progenitus dodges Karakas and snot but looks pretty bad when Sneak Attacked out, and while at least bad Emrakul stories are interesting (I Show and Tell Emrakul. He cheats in Spine of Ish Sah. D'oh!), bad Progenitus stories almost always end by getting outraced or by getting a combo in the face.
Griselbrand also exponentially increases the chances that Sneak Show executes the legendary OHKO (or OTK) without relying on guys that pointlessly bite it to Swords to Plowshares.

Flusterstorm is better. This decks needs to use its counters to protect Show&Tell and Sneak Attack and Flusterstorm wins counterwars. Spell Pierce is good to counter Jace in control mirrors.
Do you guys think Progenitus is even needed now. 4 Emrakul and 3/4 Griselbrand should be more than enough.
I think 4 Emrakul + 3 Griselbrand + or - 2 Progenitus. Even if Karakas Bounces Griselbrand the draw 7 will most likely win the game.
Thoughts on Spell pierce vs Flustersorm?
Any idea what I am doing wrong? I can't seem with win with griselbrand. I either not get the right cards to draw, too low on hp, or am a terrible player. Has anyone else that tested Griselbrand had this experience?
Only draw7 with Griselbrand if its necessary, if the opponent tries to remove him and you don't have counter back up or used them all resoving showtell or sneak attack, lastly after connecting or from a safe life total. Griselbrand is best getting sneaked in draw7 to find Emmy and lotus petal then ONE HIT KNOCK OUT! (ohko)
The meta is soooo diverse right now nothing needs to get banned.
I'm definitly excited about Griselbrand though the card is awesome and the artwork is insane. The big question is what's the optimal number to run of our biggies
How well does leyline work? Bit awkward to cast if we don't have it in opening hand
What are the best decks to sideboard in Leyline.. Burn, storm, what else? What's everyone's experiences with this? How many mulligans should we try to get this in opening hand?
Sneak Show just won against dredge in the SCG finals 2-0. Didn't catch game 1, but game 2 was won with Dredge in full swing by a Griselbrand, who swung once and drew a ton of cards. Dredge couldn't finish him off and scooped

Also, consider that Liliana counts as occasional mana denial, and it starts to become a significant portion of our strategy.

Progenitus is bad. It is not very good with Sneak Attack, even if you have 2 Progenitus in hand, that's still a 2 turn clock.
With Show and Tell it is not a guarantee win. It has real trouble racing flying Delvers and large Knights. The only time it is a guarantee win is on turn 1 or turn 2 on the play.
Griselbrand takes that slot easily. You lose to ability to pitch to Force of Will but that's marginal compared to it's ability to instantly win. Against decks like RUG and Burn, you don't even need to draw 7 cards. They can't deal with a flying 7/7, just ride the lifelinking body to victory.
The best part of Griselbrand is obviously the card draw and card selection. You draw 7 and select the ones you don't want at the end step lol. Often my hand after Griselbrand has 1 fatty and 6 copies of free countermagic.
If you do decide to play 7 creatures. I think the correct one to cut is Emrakul. As weird as that sounds, Griselbrand has protection from spells as well in the form of drawing lots of Force of Wills.
If you are losing either creatures to something like Karakas; at least Griselbrand leaves you with a full 7 in your hands. You can always find Emrakul with Griselbrand.

Card disadvantage is really bad in a combo deck. I would much rather have Gitaxian Probe which can potentially be free and played on the combo turn.

I agree that Griselbrand is pretty bonkers--especially when he says "Emrakul", "Force of Will", "Sneak Attack", and "Lotus Petal" on him. I believe I've even won with Draw 7s that yield jank (4 lands, Emrakul, Brainstorm, Ponder, and that's when I Show and Tell him).

Agreed.
Cards usually don't get banned because it can win the game, but it depends on how consistently it does it, as well as a number of other reasons.
