I use cards like Raven Familiar and Wirewood Savage to be able to draw my entire deck to find kill piece.
Some of the latest lists use cards like Baleful Strix and Shardless Agent to draw their deck with Cavern Harpy (or at least lose a lot of life doing so a la Yawgmoth's Bargain) to find kill pieces. The Glint-Nest Crane tech to dig for Parasitic Strix mid-combo also won't die on MTGO, even though I'm a bigger fan of the Trophy Mage plan because spamming Shardless Agent is great in grind wars and tutoring for hate such as Ensnaring Bridge is relevant, because Shardless can Cascade into the Crane but not the Trophy Mage.
Unlike Wirewood Savage, Shardless Agent doesn't need a Beast to be good, and unlike Raven Familiar, Baleful Strix doesn't demand mana or die, and it even threatens to get Emrakul or Griselbrand killed by blocking them.
Notably, I cut Edric, Spymaster of Trest and the third Coiling Oracle last week to try out Leovold, and, as probably should have been expected, he's staying. Dude's absurd. That said, I do wish that I didn't have to cut a Coiling Oracle for him, because Oracle has been great at skirting opposing Leovolds.
Other notes:
-I was on 2 Carpet of Flowers for a bit, but swapped in Dread of Night as an anti-D&T (and anti White Aluren, I guess) card for the larger tournament.
-I finally moved away from the singleton Wooded Foothills. I kinda miss it, but consistency with the third Verdant Catacombs has been good, and I've only missed having an 8th fetch that can get the Volcanic Island once, maybe twice over the past month.
-I'm picking up foils of Izzet Staticaster as well as the Dream Stalkers next weekend! I'm especially excited about the Dream Stalkers, which are surprisingly hard to track down at a reasonable price.
-I kinda want a Mindbreak Trap in my sideboard now, but it may not be worth it.
-Other SB cards I'm still considering: Thunderscape Battlemage, Yixlid Jailer, Ophiomancer, Bone Shredder (and secretly wishing I could get someone with an end-step Bituminous Blast, but that seems loose)
So, is anyone else eyeing this guy for their sideboard? It's cascadable and can be bounced by Dream Stalker for value. I'm thinking of putting it in the slot that's currently taken up by Dread of Night in the list above (which is in the deck for SCG Worcester but not necessary for local play).
Follow-up to my post from last week. I decided to be lazy and test a 61-card version of the deck to add a Reclamation Sage to the main deck, and was not disappointed. Ideally, I'd be playing a 60 card deck like a normal person, but I just haven't had the opportunity to figure out what the right cut would be. While it's exactly the same as the deck above other than the Rec Sage, for posterity, here's what I'm planning to bring to the SCG Open this weekend:
I'm not sure if I want a different card in the SB other than a second Reclamation Sage, but having 2 Rec Sages against Miracles and Food Chain was great, and I'm just not sure if the other options are better.

Edit: Aluren is still viable, but I will not be able to make it a reality due to unfortunate circumstances cropping up.
