You really just need to embrace the rage. I keep a small colony of hamsters next to my computer and every time I lose a match to mana screw I throw one against the wall.
Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.

Maybe, but I will only know like 2 hours in advance if I can, so don't save a spot for me.
No problem. I never regard these events as full, because we can always spread across more than one table.

OK, looks like I am finally free at a weekend - let's draft!
DGR draft - Saturday 16th June
In
bateleur
Mace1370
Pseudofate
Hardened
essenia (?)
Oliver597
Magister_Returns
Tahn
Timings
9PM Central European Time (UTC+1)
8PM London Time (UTC+0)
3PM New York Time (EST)
12PM (midday) Los Angeles Time (PST)
How
1) Log on to MtGO and type: "/join mtgslimited". If you dock the resulting chat window in the sidebar you should be able to see who else is on.
2) Make sure everyone has the packs and/or event tickets they need to join a draft. Also, make sure you have draft capture switched on, since it's interesting when two or more people post draftcaps of the same draft.
3) Check in the chat window that everyone's ready, then all join the Swiss queue at once. (We play Swiss since that maximises the chance of us actually getting to play one another.)
Sign up by adding a comment here if possible, since it's helpful if we know to expect people.

Because the cost is prohibitive unless you draft Phantom, which some people might be unhappy about. (Also I haven't drafted the format myself and hear varying reports of how much fun it is.)
Still, not a bad idea for a future draft. Feel free to organise one next week once people have had a bit of practice!

It just seems a waste given that MM will only be here for a month, while DGR drafts will be available for more than another year. We should milk this opportunity all we can.
Would people really be that unhappy about phantom?
Would people really be that unhappy about phantom?
I was basing that judgement on the comments made in past threads about Phantom Sealed. Perhaps it wouldn't be a problem, I don't know.
In any case, having a long discussion about it in this thread isn't a good plan since people will miss the draft announcement as it gets buried under everyone offering their $0.02 on the subject of MM. As such, this weekend's draft will remain DGR but I strongly encourage anyone who's interested to organise an MM draft for the next one.

I don't think that reasoning applies here. Phantom is arguably a better choice here because without rare drafting you get a more pure draft environment.

If you're worried about that, you should edit the thread title and first post.
Cool - found it interesting watching your videos last time.

Darnit. The first time I'm savvy enough to catch one of these announcements in time, but there is no way I'll get a kitchen pass from the wife to play at noon, local time.
How about 9 hours later?
Have fun, post the draftcaps so I can nitpick!
