Yes, definitely maindeck Waterwhirl over Monastery Flock. Flock doesn't really do anything we want, Waterwhirl does, so discussions of mana efficiency aren't especially relevant. Dropping the waterwhirl for the flock would be one of the first changes we make against an opponent who's clearly more aggressive than we are, but I expect us to have much more use for an overpriced tempo spell than for a not-especially-big wall in most matchups.
Here I guess Weave Fate, though I don't think it really matters. I don't expect to play any of these cards and I don't care about hatedrafting any of them.
The deck is probably set; we might pull a roar of challenge or (more likely) disdainful stroke from the next one, and maybe a highland game a couple packs down the line.
Mark your pick by either bolding it or putting it in Quote tags. If you want to change your vote, either edit your previous post or bold it & strike it through ([s][/s]) as you post your new pick.
Next pick will be tomorrow (unless there is clear consensus, in which case I might post the next pick earlier). Have fun!
Disdainful Stroke is the best pick here. Then maybe Blinding Spray. We have enough creatures with enough power that we can trigger Disdainful Stroke to keep momentum or drop Blinding Spray to gain card advantage. Roar of Challenge works about as well as Blinding Spray on offense, but is not very useful on defense (makes sense when comparing casting costs, but Blinding Spray also has card draw).
Disdainful Stroke, though I think the cases where we'd want to board it in are extremely narrow. Most of the time, we're better off leaving it on the bench.

Awaken the Bear is good in this format. Everyone expects morphs to trade at 3 and 4 mana, so trading a trick for a morph and 3 damage is nice. Highland Game is a fine replacement for our 2nd sambar but the trick is better.
If Highland Game was the only green card here, we'd take it and play it. But we don't have to. Awaken the Bear is a decent card and definitely the kind of thing we'd like to add right now. We can play it over that Monastery Flock we were all arguing about.
Awaken the Bear is extremely good. I would have been fine with wheeling just the highland game, getting this is significantly better.
Interesting that Goblinslide went before these cards, I wonder if there is a deck at the table that actually wants it, or if it just got hated as a late pick on the off chance someone else would have the deck for it.

I started to make the decks on Modo shortly after the conclusion of the draft, so that I could post screenshots to this thread (I strongly prefer visual decklists over text decklists, personally), but I got tilted with Modo and ended up not finishing. I'll look into it this weekend... maybe.
In any case, this is what the table looked like: Player 1: GU Player 2: GB(W) (you passed to this player) Player 3: GWB Player 4: BRW Player 5: URG Player 6: RW(B) Player 7: WUBRG Player 8: WB (passed to you. Probably had the best deck in the draft)
