Would the community prefer, during spoiler season, to continue to discuss random cards of the current set, or include cards of the upcoming set?

I think doing random cards from upcoming sets could be fun, and it seems like it could be a neat way of starting some discussion on possibly overlooked cards from the spoiler.
But I'd prefer to wait until we have the full spoiler before we get started. We'll necessarily be making some uninformed opinions on new cards as it is, and not even knowing the full set would exacerbate that, especially for the narrow or surprisingly (in)effective cards that are most promising to discuss. Also, prior to the full spoiler dump, most of the spoilers aren't terribly interesting from a limited standpoint anyway... "This card is also a rare dragon which is good in Limited", etc.
Except that they are literally the same card, and note shifted across blocks like your guildgate example. They are in consecutive sets in the same block.

That was true of the Gatecrash gates, though; all 10 gates appeared in DGM with slightly different art, which is exactly the same as here as far as I can tell.
What I'm less clear on is exactly how often they'll be showing up. The article, as I remember it, said that they "may" appear in FRF boosters in the basic land slot... but then it also went on to say that certain languages (presumably those not getting fat packs or intro decks) would sometimes have basic land in that slot as well because otherwise there would be no printings of FRF basics in those languages. That seems to indicate that in other languages, basics won't sometimes appear in the land slot, i.e., English FRF packs would always have either a fetch or a "refuge" instead of a basic. But as I read it, the article isn't entirely clear.
To be clear, spoiled cards discussed while the set is unreleased will be exempted from future RCD ONLY until the set is released. At that point, the RCD will be generated solely from the full pool of the newest set.
Personally, I wouldn't want to do it all the time, but since FRF is one pack among three, we should have a decent idea of the format these card will be playing in for now.

I think you need to wait until the full set is spoiled to add new cards, otherwise we don't have the full context. Sure most cards you can discuss in a vacuum but for example, Debilitating Injury is much better in a set that revolves around Morph than in the average format. I just think the discussion will be more fruitful once the full set is available.
I'd prefer only to discuss cards we've played with. I really enjoy reading the gameplay stories in the RCD and about how the cards play out. We won't know this for upcoming cards until a while after the Prerelease.
I don't really mind discussion of upcoming cards. I know I haven't participated a lot in these threads (Modo is bad and my LGS is bad, so I haven't had the opportunity to play as much Khans as I'd like ), but I think certain spoiled cards can be discussed even without complete information.
In any case, for doing this.
