This is another farewell thread to the FKK format. The question I ask here is pretty obvious from the title: What was the best deck you got in a limited tournament in this format, and what was the worst one.
The best I played was Sultai control/self-mill deck that was a ton of fun and 3-0 the tournament. I still have the the decklist:
The worst deck I got was a Jeskai deck. I got only one dual land the whole draft (Swiftwater Cliffs). I needed to play stuff like Sage-Eye Harrier and Wetland Sambar. the only saving grace - and the only reason I managed to eke out a 2-1 - was an End Hostilities, but otherwise that deck was terrible.

I actually just drafted my best FKK deck today. I realize that's partly because I opened bombs and partly because a lot of veterans aren't playing FKK right now (prepping for Dragons of Tarkir, or doing Rise of Eldrazi flashbacks) but still...I had fun.
Nothing really exciting about it other than the rares; I just identified the open colors, and luckily for me one of the open colors (Green) matched my first pick rare. And then I opened a Pack 3 Sagu Mauler. I had to stretch the card quality a little with commons I don't always include (Whirlwind Adept doesn't work particularly well here, Sagu Archer, Disdainful Stroke) because I invested in dual lands.
Abzan Beastmaster functions like a bomb in this type of deck so between that, Yasova, and Mauler, I always had the edge as long as I could avoid a real quick beatdown.
