The purpose of this thread is for you to have a general place to post and discuss this particular subforum and its rules and structure. It's also the perfect place to post feedback or suggestions about anything relating to the Limited sub.
Some examples of things this thread can be used for:
Requests for new thread prefixes (prefixes are, for example: [SCD], [Activity], [BFZ])
Feedback on Limited activity (8-ways drafts and such), suggestions for upcoming activity we could run
General discussion of moderation level - whether you think it's currently too lax/too strict, etc
Additionally, when the Limited Rules thread is updated, we (the moderators) will post about the changes in this thread, and feel free to comment on those!
However, this thread is not for complaining about a warning you've received and disagree with - if you want to appeal a warning, please contact the relevant Moderator as outlined in this announcement.

I told the other mods a while back, but I figured it'd be a good idea to post about it here too: I've been gone for a few weeks, and I'll be gone a couple more. Work stuff. February-March are usually the busiest months for me, and I don't have much time for Magic or forums then. Additionally, the local game store I usually go to for prereleases temporarily closed down sometime last year, so I didn't play the OGW prerelease, and since I was fairly busy with work by the time it was released on Modo, I've pretty much missed out on the set altogether. However, by the time Shadows over Innistrad rolls around, I'm back to a normal work schedule, and my LGS, re-opened, will be hosting a prerelease I can attend, so expect me back in a few weeks!
In the meantime, you can direct all your hate mail at Hardened

Follow-up on this: No local prerelease after all, declining interest in the site, and I've shipped the other mods my resignation. This is far from the first time; I've been on-and-off as a Limited mod here for many years at this point, and I might be back when I have more to offer than I do right now (or have lately).
Can someone point me to a post(s) that explain how to make a good sealed deck (in general) and a good way to evaluate cards? I have a hard time evaluating.
Thank you!

I am trying to get better at making decks. I have had trouble creating more competitive decks as I only really build with the cards I have. I dont have that many value cards, in function or expense. I (almost) never play at FNM type events so its not like im playing against $2k decks. If I do usally play at one, Its a draft or limited game. Any advice on building decks is greatly supported! DMs are appreciated.
Thank you!
To put it more simply, it's like saying, "I can prove Jesus is real and loves you. See? Here's my Hispanic friend Jesus. He's had a crush on you for a long time. Tell em' Jesus."
Here's a joke! Whats the internal temperature of a Taun-Taun?

I know where to generate pools, but where can I actually play with the new set? I would love to prepare for the prerelease.
