Great card. Never getting cut from a deck that is playing red as a primary color. Attacks well, blocks well, trades up well, and if it flips, hoo boy. Definitely a premium uncommon in red.
I rather disagree, Nightshade. Generally speaking, you want those sacrificial outlets so that you can attain Delirium. Reaper doesn't let you sacrifice things until after you already attain Delirium.
It's a 3/3 Flyer for 5, which is 'okay'. Seems best when in WU or WG Delirium decks that spit out Spirit tokens for it to eat.
Aside from having an awkward name, this card was great for me at pre-release. You want to be intentional about building your deck for delirium if you're playing this card, but that's not difficult if you plan for it and the payoff is real. Once the sacrifice ability in online, she closes out games fast.
The card is a high pick in the decks that want it.
A 3/3 flyer is a little overpriced at 5 mana, but the upside is huge. It seems ineffecient until you play against one and realize how fast it's going to kill you if you can't find an answer.
Weak if you're on defense but it's pretty powerful otherwise.
Great card. 2/3 for 3 is barely below curve, black (with dead weight) is one of the colors that helps you get delerium, and if you flip it, hoo boy. Freakin' value town!
Absolutely brutal. The only downside is you have a ton of time to prepare and play around it. You can hold up Aim High or Survive the Night.
Definitely a first-pickable card, better than most of the non-mythic rares.
The best part is, you don't have to play it, that's just an option you have. Most of the time you're probably going to want to play this as a 6 drop that kills a creature, which would be one of the best cards in the set as is. The ability to play early as a 2/3 is just gravy.
Very powerful card. I see a lot of people saying that delirium is too difficult to achieve in limited but personally I have only played in a single game where one person had a delirium card but couldn't activate it. The crow really helps black decks get delirium online early.
I don't understand the people who think delirium is hard to achieve. I think I only had problems getting it in one game where my opponent didn't kill any of my creatures, and was just getting bum rushed by 2 and 3 cmc creatures. You just have to open your mind a bit and realize that in this set the cards in your library and hand are just extra resources to be used to fuel the fires of victory.
It's not that it's that difficult, it's that you either have put cards in your deck that enable it, or you have very little control over it.
Specifically, if you are getting beat down.
This is pretty much just a really inconsistent lava axe...but then it enables delirium, which generally isn't something an aggro deck cares about. I expect to never play this card.
Not playable. The damage is too low and unreliable, you're going to deal less than x damage on average. By the time x gets high enough that the amount of self-mill is actually relevant, you're paying 4+ mana to not effect the board at all.
I wonder if there are some weird cases that you might play this. I mean, lava axe is a fringe playable in an aggro deck, and BR is very aggro.
Basically never picking this but I might board it in sometime. It would be pretty cool if you can actually re-animate the dudes.
Haven't gotten to play with it yet, but it seems strong in this format...it'll often trade for a 4 mana card. It'd be quite happy to pick up at least the first two.
Should be a solid 3-5th pick. This card is weak against werewolves since its awkward to hold this up since your opponents wolves flip, but the set has more than enough low power guys for this to efficiently trade upwards (looking at you, ox and 1/5 spirit).

exactly this
if you're building a delirium deck, 2 or 3 of these guys basically guarantee you'll get there one way or the other
