I'm in. We get to keep what we draft this time, right?
Edit: I am interested in playing the games, but my availability is likely questionable. If I'm free at all, it is after 9PM eastern, and I'm at the mercy of a baby, a toddler, and a wife recovering from surgery. It's best if I'm paired with a teammate who has a more reliable schedule.
Sorry, there was supposed to be a wink smiley on there and I accidentally left it off. I wasn't expecting that.
If you want to set it up so that people buy-in for their share of the cards that's up to you, but that sounds like a hassle for you. (Even more so than the typical 8-way.) I really wasn't serious.
I can /in for this too, but I will not be playing this Online so won't be accumulating any of the cards.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
I was afraid that might happen. It's too bad, I was looking forward to it. I'd have thought people would jump at the chance to "draft" the set for free.
This is the sort of thing that can wear on people if they do it a lot, unfortunately. After doing several in a row, I couldn't really maintain interest.
There's also the fact that making small groups of people manage their pick priorities leads to all the decision-by-committee problems of group drafts with none of the wide range of perspectives. Group drafts were ultimately retired because people hated getting railroaded by consensus into the most medium builds imaginable, and it's possible the 8-way format is even worse for that.
Anyone who wants to participate in this 8-Way needs to post in this thread to indicate their interest.

Currently, we don't have enough players to do the EMN 8-Way either.

I could always do Duplicate Drafts, if properly set up for it. That has its own risks, however.
