Black is the best color, even if we're sad to be missing Festering Newts for our witch. Liliana/Rise are very good cards in an otherwise bad pool. Black is really lacking in creatures, though. There is an Accursed Spirit, Nightwing Shade, Witch, Blightcaster and the two Minotaurs as playable creatures. I'm not too happy with the six drops and Blightcaster with one playable enchantment in your entire pool (Dark Favor looks pretty poor here) is pretty unplayable. You're forced to run Minotaurs and sometimes Blightcaster if you're two color with black, because there just aren't that many playables.
I can't actually come up with a two color deck that has 23 cards that I actually want to play. Each color has 10-11 cards that aren't unplayable. There's no good aggro deck available- it's forced to play too many cards that don't contribute to the game plan. I think the only viable decks. BG looks the best of some bad options.
Resonator combo count - 4. Shortcutter, Pyromancer, Mindsparker and my favourite, Molten Birth.
Molten Birth has no triggered ability. Ironically, you mention Dragon Egg, which has by far the best copyable trigger in the entire pool.
Oh, and the Academy Raider triggers too. Turns the Resonator into a looter effect, which is somewhat decent, I guess. Probably still doesn't belong in the deck.

Signalling is like farting: it's a natural thing that helps people avoid being where you are, and if you try to do it deliberately, things turn to crap fast.

I hereby found the American Chapter of the Zealots of Semantics. All glory to The Curmudgeon.
Pretty rough pool, certainly not the three mythics you're looking for in a pool. Not looking at posts ahead of time, so we'll see if I miss anything big after.
White -- 10 decent playables, Banisher Priest the only one of real note. Probably not.
Blue -- 9 decent playables (maybe 10 if you add in a Negate), Divination only one of note. Possibly worse than the white which is impressive.
Black -- 11 decent playables (not counting the witch, no sacrifice synergies and no newts in the pool means she's fringe at best). Accursed Spirit is a nice one, and double mind rot is really nice in M14 sealed. Liliana's OK in this deck -- could we think about Rise? probably not but it could be a sideboard option.
Red -- 10 decent playables. Academy Raiders could easily win games for you, and Tyrant is surprisingly effective in sealed.
Green -- 10 decent playables (always maindecking Plummet here if in green.) Enlarge is about the best bomb we've seen in this pool, and woodborn behemoth is a nice one in sealed.
Colorless -- Fireshrieker. 2 cauldrons, but with no Acts or Tenacious D, don't think they do enough.
I think Green is a must-play here. Enlarge is a game-winning card and one of the only good finishers in your pool. you also have nice commons in mystic, baloth, rootwalla, recluse, and behemoth is great. fireshrieker is a great complement to this color as well.
I think Black is probably your second color. It has a couple pieces of removal, some nice evasion, and Liliana will get you to eight lands very quickly for Behemoth. academy raiders are tempting but I think Black is best to maindeck.
White is pretty bad once you get past Banisher Priest. Blue has 4-drops but nothing else. Black has a planeswalker, removal and creatures, so it's likely in. Red is thin. Green is deep with more removal. So yeah, pretty obviously BG here.
Wow, this pool is so short of playables that you have to run an 18 land special, plus a bunch of fringe cards.
Fringe cards that made the cut:1 Dark Favor, 1 Naturalize, 1 Plummet, 2 Mind Rot, 1 Verdant Haven

Going three colors doesn't really offer you much at all. I can't see doing it with this pool, though I would instantly if we had something worth splashing here. I wouldn't count Mind Rot as a fringe playable- I think it's very good in sealed and one of our better cards. If we're playing 18 lands and a Verdant Haven, we're definitely playing Rise of the Dark Realms. I think it's a good enough card that we want to play it regardless. Yes, it's expensive but it will win us games, and it's not like you lose that much.
Plummet and Naturalize are reasonable maindeck cards, though neither are exciting. Most decks have targets. I think our worst cards are Predatory Sliver and Dark Favor in your build. I definitely want to cut the latter. Maybe you want to go Voltron with Dark Favor + Fireshrieker, but that plan seems pretty poor when most sealed decks have as much removal as you have actual creatures.
Bubbling Cauldron is also a reasonable sideboard card. Maindecking one and a witch is somewhat reasonable, though obviously not awesome.
tl;dr : -1 Dark Favor, +1 Rise of the Dark Realms

very tempted to splash for a raider and would strongly consider boarding into one against non-red.
