This is my brother sealed pool from the same prerelease. He wanted to find out how his decisions stacks up with other peoples since he hasn't played in a couple of pereleases since he moved back to town.
Black seems shallow with only two cards to catch the eye: Eviscerate and Kazarov. Blue once again doesn't excite much (though that may just be my personal bias). White has quite the removal suite but few things to back it up. Red, too, brings mostly removal, and quite a lot of that, and little else. In terms of creatures, green naturally is the most beefy, but there are some extraordinary critters. Getting through would be their biggest problem, though, but evasion in general seems light in this pool. With nothing else to built around, I'd once again go with the green critters for the heavy lifting, and try to get removal from the other colors. Red probably is the most fitting as it also provides some decent early creatures. Kazarov would be worth splashing, and I can see some arguments to try. Double black for a 7 CMC card is achievable after all, and you'd get Eviscerate, too. The Compass can help with any color splash, so that should be an autoinclude then. So let's try R/G/b.
This deck has 41 cards, and I'd probably cut the Phoenix to go down to 40, except that it is an evasive creature. 6 Removal spells, and virtually 2 more with Allosaurus and Chronicler, is a lot and usually a happy place to be in. There's kind of a hole at 3 CMC, but little of worth to fill it in. The numerous removal spells should make up for that. And at 4+ mana this deck brings the beats. I'm not even sure you'd need Kazarov, but he's a nice guy to have around as a gimick for the late game. You could try to squeeze in some creature recursion with Soul Salvage and/or The Mending of Dominaria to annoy the opponent even more, but I think, the deck doesn't really need it.
