The only creature with bomby inevitability was Torgaar, Famine Incarnate, but the number of creatures that black had was very low. Overall I had a very hard time finding a color pair that had enough playable creatures.
Initially I made a RG deck with a very heavy splash of black. I was trying to splash Windgrace Acolyte, Torgaar, Famine Incarnate and Vicious Offering. I figured that my Gilded Lotus and Llanowar Envoy would help me get the black mana that I would need, and I had 3 Swamps in the deck as well. Right before playing I sorta panicked and worried that my mana base was too unstable. I took out the back splash and replaced them with Ghitu Lavarunners with the hope that they would power my Firefist Adept. That did not go as planned. Instead I got skinned alive.
After coming home and untilting, I took a look at the pool again and decided that something like this might be more effective, but I really would like to hear what you guys would do here:
So this is still a pretty heavy splash with red for the removal: Fiery Intervention, Shivan Fire and Wizard's Lightning. I would hope that the 3 Mountains and a Gilded Lotus would help me to have the red mana available to cast removal spells when I need them the most. I'm slightly light on creatures but I would hope that Memorial to Folly would help to alleviate that problem a bit.
I also think GB Saps is the archetype with strongest support. You have many payoffs for tokens: Slimefoot, Torgaar, Wild Onslaught, Song of Freyalise. I'd build very similar to Pierre.
The other option to consider here is to make your terrible commons less terrible with synergy: WB historic aggro. This deck has much lower average card value, but could be fun to try out for the synergy.
The idea is to cast historic spells over and over for profit: buffing Serra's Disciple, growing Archeologist, burning opponent with Paladin, and recurring weenies with Teshar.
You run some bad low-cost artifact creatures (Construct, Glider, Golem) but save them to cast at strategic times for your historic triggers. Then you bounce them with Guardians or trade them off and recur them (Archaelogist, Elephant, Memorial) so you can get the historic triggers again. Bloodtallow Candle is an even better artifact to recur in grindy games.
Baird, removal, tokens, tricks, and equipped first strike blockers should help slow down the ground enough that you can win in the air.
I think this deck would be fun to try out, but the Saproling deck is more likely to lead to consistent wins.

Here's the pool that I opened. It features multiple copies of some very underwhelming creatures like three Homarid Explorers, four Ghitu Lavarunners, three Feral Abominations and three Serra Disciples.
It has some strong red removal like Fiery Intervention, Wizard's Lightning, and of course Shivan Fire, as well as removal in other colors such as Deep Freeze and Vicious Offering.
The only creature with bomby inevitability was Torgaar, Famine Incarnate, but the number of creatures that black had was very low. Overall I had a very hard time finding a color pair that had enough playable creatures.
