I'm got myself 6 booster packs to practice before a sealed tournament, and stumbled upon a rather interesting set of cards. I created two decks with very different strategies:
Azorius High Alert. Gnerally high toughness creatures to slow down the battle, albeit limited removal, with a few draw cards and a scrying enchantment to find High Alert and stomp/fly over the opponent when the game goes long. Despite plenty of gold cards and somewhat high average power level, no mana fixing in the pool for these colours.
Gruul splashing captive audience and blue. Creature heavy deck with counters interacting with Rumbling Ruin as a finisher, splash into black for some removal and Captive Audience as another win condition should the battlefield clog up. Due to 3 simic guild gates, decided to splash for two skitter eels in blue and complement Steeple Creeper's activated ability for flying. Pool includes plenty of mana fixing here.
I am leaning towards Gruul splashing two colours but worried about the whether the mana base is reasonably built given four colours, and whether the power level is sufficient and competitive? With Azorius, the deck seems to rely too heavily on High Alert even though most creatures are evasive. Any thoughts from more experienced players and deckbuilders would be greatly appreciated!!

Angelic Exaltation is very strong when your gameplan is to sit there with ground blockers while 1 evasive guy gets there.
You could also go with Gruul midrange splashing black for Get the Point, Captive Audience, and Dead Revels. The blue splash doesn't seem worth it compared to the hit your manabase takes.
