In life all we can do is try to make things better. Sitting lost in old ways and fearing change only makes us outdated and ignorant.

Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity.
Thanks for all the ideas everyone.
I tried the gatherer search suugested in the second post; but it didn't quite yield what I was looking for.
I'd just like to ask, with recommendations like Peer Through Depths, does this mean that any 'cycling' card could be good in this spot (especially if it was a cantrip)?
(i don't literally mean cards with a cycling ability)
Thanks for the idea, but these inevitably come up with every cantrip in the criteria.(I did try it)
I'm using draw fixing to increase consistency in Heartless combo (my own take on it).
My deck is just missing 4 cards, so I thougt I may as well add more draw fixing. My current package is 4 Gitaxian Probe, and 4 each of Sleiht and Visions.
P.s: In my last post, I got perr throught depths and reach through mists confused.
you could try peek or gitaxian probe. 3 mana is a lot, but forbidden alchemy digs pretty deep, although it is probably worse than sleight of hand.

If you can wait until DA, then try out Faithless Looting. You won't necessarily gain card advantage until you flash it back, but it will help you nicely with the filtering.
I would have to say that your best bet after those 12 is very likely going to be telling time, as mentioned. It only digs 3 deep, but it gets rid of something you don't need and gets you something you do need along with a brief setup.
How about instead of filtering you get just draw spells. NIght's Whisper is the cheapest draw 2 out there.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.
Because draw fixing makes combos reliable. That would be why Ponder and Preordain are banned, because they were too good at making combos work.
But if draw fixing is only incrementally better than actual drawing, and the best fixing spells were banned... maybe the next best thing is straight up draw instead of weak fixing spells.
If you're going through the trouble of extensive testing it's worth a shot to try it out.
Ponder and Preordain were banned because they basically said, "Search the top three cards of your library for a card. If you like any of them, put one of those cards into your hand and the rest on top of your library in any order. If you like none of them, shuffle your library, then draw a card." and "Search the top three cards of your library for a card, put it into your hand, and put the rest on either the top or bottom of your library in any order.", respectively, for a mere 1 mana.
UR Storm is so fast, it highly prefers 1-mana cantrips. Control is slower, so it's more likely to use straight-up draw.
I'll use the example of Serum Visions. You use it, you draw a card and then Scry 2. That's digging three deep at worst, setting up the whole combo at best. For one blue mana.
Night's Whisper, on the other hand, digs 2 deep, at best, for 2 mana and 2 life. Now if you look at something else like Mystic Speculation, my favourite option so far, also digs 3 deep, at worst, for 1 blue mana. This is why I want to use fixing, not direct draw.
Mystic Speculation is probably better in control decks that want to fix their next few draws--but wait, control doesn't like losing cards. (At least they'll eventually be able to Buyback it.)
UR Storm also hates losing cards--I loathe mulling to 5--and needs all its cantrips to draw cards or it gets no card advantage from Past in Flames or Pyromancer Ascension.
This is Heartless combo for a fairly casual local meta, in which draw fixing is key as the combo can be hard to assemble. I know that Splinter Twin is basically better, but I can build this deck easily and cheaply (the same cost as 3 copies of Twin).
How about tutor? Muddle the Mixture will get you heartless, and I am not really sure about the rest of your deck. My heartless deck also runs Perilous Myr and Myr Retriever, so tutoring a 2 cmc card would get me lots of things. I run Beseech the Queen and Fecundity in mine , but it is pretty casual too.
(and no, I haven't tried Gatherer, I would have no idea how to phrase the search).
Thanks!

Maybe rule out 'card' as that would increase your results with stuff you don't want, but it would be the most comprehensive search I can think of.

Finally, 3 mana is a bit much for Alchemy.
