If you were going to attend a PTQ the first weekend in February, what would you play?
I'm not asking for what you think is the "best deck" or what deck you think I should play or anything else more complicated. Just what you would choose to play. You don't have to discuss or explain your choices, though you're certainly welcome to. I'm just hoping to get a large number of votes to get an idea of where the users here stand.
Decks choices were taken from my personal gauntlet, so sorry if your favorite isn't there
Ajani V Control. It has a great match against Zoo, Storm, Melira, and Martyr. Twin is eh. It's not played online cause it's very slow win condition of Sacred Mesa or Emeria recursion generally causes lags and timeouts.
if i don't play affinity i'll try some sort of polymorph deck.

Truthfully, the vote covers either U/B Delver, RUG Delver or Caw-Blade. All well placed in this meta to take aggro and combo longer than they want the game to be and grind out wins.
Unless things are going to change this week, Twin is probably the deck to make sure you have a reasonable plan against and a reasonable amount of counters and pressure does that.
I voted Twin, because I think it's really well positioned. It has a decent to strong game against almost all of the decks in the format.
I think that Hive Mind is a really viable option, as well. It's really hard to beat, unless you put it on a quick clock, and it's kind of hard to disrupt the combo.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein
I don't like delver that much in the current format. No ponder, no brainstorm, no preordain, and it requires me to play too few creatures for how often it can flip early on.
I would play a UWR tempo deck in all likelihood, with a focus on Faeries + snapcaster + planeswalkers. But there are other strategies that are strong against the meta as well.
Bant Blade is a very strong deck if tuned & played properly. Turn 2 Geist can lead to blowouts on it's own quite frequently.
Teachings is still good, but the meta is so incredibly broad, I'm not sure if I'd feel very comfortable spending a ton of money on a reactive control deck where the meta is as unpredictable as it currently is. If I had a better idea of what i was up against, I'd be more likely to play it.
If I were to go rogue, I'd play a deck with Death's Shadow + Ranger of Eos. That combination is pretty disgusting in a B/W/x deck that can choose to be suicidal at it's own pace, especially when you can back it with loads of hand disruption, and some naturally suicidal cards that are good in their own right (confidant, dismember, thoughtseize, etc)
Probably some kind of WW deck (D&T or classic WW). It's not super competitive, but I'm comfortable playing it, and feel I could tailor it to have an average matchup across the board.
I voted Twin because it has the easiest wins in the format if played correctly, but I'd also consider Bant as a strong, consistent, resilient aggro deck that has access to lots of crucial answers.

I said Twin, since it's fairly resiliant, and doesn't seem to care that the Modern meta is still shifting; infinite guys is good vs the field. lol
That being said, I do also like the Boros decks that are running around. Chandra's Phoenix and Grim Lavamancer give them some decent card advantage, and Shrine of Burning Rage gives them a decent late game. PLUS, it has the random Goblin Guide/Steppe Lynx nut draws that steal games.
Probably Martyr, as it's a fairly resilient list that I have experience with. I've been playing around with a DnT build with a red splash that I'm enjoying quite a bit right now as well, though I definitely need some more time with it.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
Affinity seems to have the most consistent game, not that it always wins. But I can be pretty sure of getting a good opening hand. I think that's because, outside of Elves, the mana base is the most stable. Jund and Zoo, even with the fetches and shocks, are just too clunky for my tastes.
My 2nd choice after Affinity would be Elves, then Zoo, then Jund.
Another reason I still believe Goyf to be a slightly overrated card in this format. Vintage, he's broken. Modern, not so much.
I am fairly confident with my list. However, the format has been changing, and I'm seeing a rise in combo (Twin, Storm, Melira), whereas decks like Zoo (which Martyr was built to hate on) are dying out.
However, with some fine tuning, and good plays, the deck can adapt as well. I'm still getting proven results, I just have to fine-tune it so I can have a better shot against combo.
I will be taking it to Grand Prix Lincoln, and a PTQ in Omaha.
Most of my experience is with Affinity and I've also played a lot of Splinter Twin and a few other archetypes, but I would almost certainly play Jund. I think there is too much hate out there for Affinity right now.
Depending on changes for the metagame, I might go back to Affinity or RUG Delver, but not for an early Feb PTQ. As high a power level that Affinity and Splinter Twin represent, I think it's better to avoid the current hate.

Or Boros. The amount of removal + aggro it has is pretty solid.
I'm very confidant in my build at the moment.
