Help/advice is much appreciated. thanks. I'm having fun keeping this budget (under 100)
Straight up as it is the deck looks good, but it appears you only have 2 solid win conditions (your Deus's). I would increase that to at least 4, or 6 good solid fatties. I've seen Shivan Wumpus mentioned in other threads, perhaps he'd be good here too.
Also Werewolves might be worth a shot- they're cheap ($$ and casting cost), pack a serious punch, and if the opponent has no lands to cast spells with they're never going to flip back are they?
My question to you though is about losing.
You say you're losing. What decks- or more importantly strategies- are you losing to? If you know what you're weak against that way we can better improve it.
i feel like it is to almost any deck. I feel like i have a huge tempo advantage but can't capitalize on it, maybe it's like you said i need some more big finishers. I don't know what I'd take out though.
hi all,
here is the LD deck I have been playing around with.
some notes:
After playing LD in EDH and once upon a time in standard, I realized every card has to contribute to your overall strategy, and that is to kill lands. You need to popping lands every turn, and then when they miss a land drop you can drop a threat... be that a small creature or a bomb or whatever.
I think my list and the little testing I have done is pretty good at keeping an opp off lands. I really want more avalanche riders...
I think maybe a white splash would be well worth it. Noble Hierarch instead of Llanowar Elves seems all-around better anyway, and white gives us access to Ajani and Lightning Helix.
I opted for Mutavault instead of the other manlands because I think it'll be important for all the lands to ETB untapped. Otherwise I would have just used Treetop Village.

EG- If your control matchups suck, add some Wreak Havocs in. If your aggro matchups such, add Wall of Roots and Pyroclasm
