Sigarda is pretty much insurmountable for Jund. It's even out of IoK range.
Would be good as a singleton in Vine (also Maverick, if GSZ ever comes back).
So is Thrun though and he's 1 cmc cheaper. But, i guess if you're trying to win a race Sigarda might be better; or if they have an active Lili. It'd actually be pretty sweet MD in a Maverick build with Fauna Shaman.
Miracle seems hard to police, but perhaps there will be rules about how it is played or if it actually can be put in your hand.
Pairing (or whatever it is called) seems unnecessarily confusing and rules heavy. I anticipate a ton of confusion about this at the pre-release.
The mechanic is called Soulbond. I think Miracle is much, much more confusing, though the "hard to police" thing is isn't as troubling as it seems. If an opponent draws multiple cards at once from an effect, and looks at them all at the same time, and tries to Miracle, I would call a judge - he had a chance to see the first card, and reveal it if he wanted, and drawing more cards seems like a forfeit to the ability to reveal? Is how I assume it will go down. Looking forward to clarification, and more Miracle cards.

This is why I started playing magic in the first place. It wasn't PT aspirations just making noobs cry by doing things that are perfectly fair.

The thing I see so often is an opponent will draw, put the card in hand, then quickly (and continuously) shuffle their cards out of some bizarre fear that the opponent will gain an advantage. With Miracle that "habit" seems like it will get a lot of people in trouble. It is also an odd mechanic because it is one of the few that you NEVER want to see in your opening hand.

This is my biggest concern so far - I don't want to play the spoiled Miracle card in any deck because the non-Miracle cost is way, way too high, and I assume that's the way most of the cards are going to go - undercosted Miracle, overcosted CC, yea? Depending on the effect, I don't want to get stuck with a 6CC Lava Axe in my hand, or God forbid, two or three.

Agreed, and that's exactly the situation I would call a judge for. If you know you're playing Miracles, you're going to need to play around them the right way.

I have a feeling that that alone will make the cards with it on them far from playable except in formats with Brainstorm; like the 5 damage for R miracle burn spell. That would be really sweet in UR Delver. Especially if they all look like the only one spoiled so far; where it's undercosted for the miracle price and VERY overcosted for the regular price.
The axe spell is a very red card: risky and rewarding. Playing 2 seems okay to keep the odds of opening it low. Miracle is just going to cause a lot of problems with sketchy players.
As for soulbonding, people are going to keep wanting to think its banding, but it isn't. Soulbonding basically says "this creature and another target creature are war-buddies. as long as both buddies are alive, "this occurs."" The only part that may confuse people is the "when ~ etb or another unpaired creature." The Paladin can enter unpaired, and you could then play say kitchen finks and pair it to the paladin.

Miracle cards may very well effect the Playability of Dark Confidant if they are relevant enough.
also the angel leaves me confused. i can't target it. i can't use cruel edict or similar. i think it's too much for a 5/5 flying cost 5
You have to kill her with creatures which is what WOTC is wanting. Lots of creatures fighting to keep it interesting for newer players n such.
Also on the miracle mechanic, I can see it causing some conflicts at local stores with players "accidentally" shuffling their hand then trying to use the card. At larger events, a judge would simply rule against them and say tough luck bro.
Just remember when building Mono-black in commander; it doesn't matter who your general is Cabal Coffers is the one in charge (my favorite quote from the commander forums); I'm rather excited about Sigarda in commander; And Temporal Mastery for UR Delver in Legacy and maybe Modern.
Oh god, Griselbrand the EDH General...he's Yawgmoth's Bargain on legs and more. Now I keep envisioning some sort of EDH Storm deck that always has access to him...
On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure how good the other Miracle cards will be in Modern. The white one looks overrated, as it's fairly conditional removal (so you Miracle it on Turn 2 when your opponent hasn't played Pyromancer Ascension or only has a Birds of Paradise out--what now?), but the blue one looks the best. Even then, I tried 4 Thunderous Wraths in a RDW deck and was obviously disappointed, so Miracle doesn't look like it's at its best in Modern.

It needs Brainstorm and Jace, TMS to make it good, I think. (Legacy gets all the good stuff )
It also appears Moonsilver Spear or whatever gives First Strike, puts a 4/4 Angel into play when the equipped creature attacks, and costs four. Equip cost is unknown as of this writing.
I can't help but feel that if it cost more than three then it just won't do. It's the old Titan problem, except with a cycle of Swords (plus a Hammer, if you're feathers).
Not to downplay how exceptionally good it is, though. It could very easily cause a runaway board advantage with the angels and all.
I mean, if the equipped creature attacks once, then the guy just puts the damn thing on the angel when you kill it.

My hunch is that you can't put them in the same deck as Bob for two reasons:
