I've been playing a R/G deck, and I need some sideboard answers for Burn and RDW. I used to have 3 Obstinate Baloth, which is good against Jund, but it could be too slow for burn when on the draw. I've tried replacing them with Kitchen Finks, but then I'm only gaining 2 life while the burn player aims his spells at my head. Finks is the best card I know for stopping monored in a green deck, but I feel like there could be something better. Any suggestions?

theres the life gain shaman, the green soul sister, and momentous fall
Maybe Healing Leaves or Toil to Renown? Not a lot of super great lifegain options in green. I can't imagine wanting to run either of these over finks.
These seem good. Healing Leaves basically counters any spell in a red deck, and it can do some work during combat. Toil to Renown could gain me 5 life or so on turn 3, and even more as the game goes on. It's easier to cast than Nourish too.
Yeah, Healing Leaves being a perfect anti-Bolt at 1cmc is looking better and better, actually.
Id still rather have finks since its got a body that can attack and hates more decks... there is also that healing rain one... cant remember its name, but you can 2 life for each creature that shares a type.

Did a gatherer search for green lifegain in modern and was surprised at how little variety there was...these are the cards that I didn't see mentioned yet:
Not sure what R/G build you're playing exactly, but Leyline of Vitality might be what you're looking for. It's only really good if it's in your opening hand, otherwise you'd probably be dead before you even got the chance to cast it against RDW, but in a heavy creature build it's a one-sided Essence Warden that could help put your creatures out of bolt/shock range.
Primal Command Might be a little slow, but again, depending on your build could prove to be a nice fit.
Huntmaser of the Fells if you're not already running him. Not that he's really played for the life gain, but still, he gains you life and gives you 2 bodies to block with.
Gnaw to the Bone is just straight life gain. If you're playing a heavy creature deck though, it might be just what you need.
there's also nourishing shoal. It's not the greatest card ever, but as a "surprise" it can do some damage. that said, primal command is probably stronger if you can ramp to it quickly. Are you playing a r/g control or aggro list?
It's not "green" per say, but Elixir of Immortaility gains you 5 for a very low investment.
Brindle Boar costs 3, and can gain you 4 life (after sacrificing).
Or if you're not playing 1 mana creatures ( I imagine you probably are however) you could just wait to get to 2 mana and play chalice of the void set at 1 and watch them squirm.

assuming you are playing some fat, id play primal command. the flexibility was really solid in lorwyn standard.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
Really depends on the deck. I can suggest alot of cards but not knowing what deck makes it hard.
I have one deck that beats all things aggro that uses vital surge and another deck that sb quiet disrepair for burn decks.
But commanding a finks is awesome

Essence Warden would just get removed as soon as I played her. Momentous Fall costs as much as Obstinate Baloth and is worse.

That's an interesting idea. I might have to test that out.

There is also sylvok lifestaff if your creatures are dying a lot.
dragon's claw does a number on them, too.

As t_c says, command is alright as well. Getting 5 mana before dying might be hard sometimes though. Quicker than Bskull though.
