And I don't play Modern...yet (but this may be a pull towards the format).
If this isn't reason enough for Wizards to reprint goyf, I don't know what is. Opening two goyfs is enough to draw someone to the format? That is outstanding. This is a perfect example of someone overcoming barrier-to-entry.
The biggest price drop should come between now and next Wed. when everyone that was doing CUBE starts to burn their packs on the nix tix drafts. Last week was mostly CUBE still.
The fact of the matter is that Goyf reprints will not bring enough new people to Modern. The lack of serious interest has nothing to do with Goyf's price. It has a lot to do with knowledge level of the format, and the fact that most players right now have only been playing maybe a year or two. Most of these players do not have any of the cards to build a competitive deck in Modern. It's not like you just buy 4xGoyf and have a competitive deck.

Too many to list efficiently. Find me online with the same SN if you want to play, or message me here to set up a time to play.

Whatever pile of 75 I throw together the night before without testing. Usually: :symb::symu::symg:
Yea Jund is still insanely pricy after the Goyfs with Bob, Liliana, and the Mana base. Even the filter lands are steadily growing, may even need a reprint of those hehe. Happy to see goyf drop (and finally get a chance to play time spiral). He was 15$ at one point on modo a lil over a year ago believe it or not, and my friend told me to buy them up... but i was broke and dint Face Palm!
They were around $65 at the end of the Modern season I believe. I sold mine in the offseason right before the CUBE drafts to bots for 55ea, rebought them yesterday at 42-43 ea.
It's a decent price drop, but they'll probably rise again once Modern picks back up. Goyf alone isn't going to do much for the format, but the continual reprints of Modern staples will help the format over time. If they reprint shocks and fetches that will go a long way imo, eventually people will accumulate the staples look for what to do with them and that will be Modern.

Edit: It's over. All these queues did was make goyf go around 10 tix down. Not much, but something is something.
