On topic, however, Tooth and Nail is a pretty cool spell. People seem to forget that you can play it for utility sans Entwine. Perhaps search the library for double Kitchen Finks, survive another couple of turns, then Snap it back for your win conditions? Mad expensive.
You don't even have to put a specific wincon in your deck. Just use Primeval Titan to ramp into it and use it to put two more into play. Find a bunch of manlands, Kessig Wolf Runs, and what have you and you're set.
I've been thinking of putting together a Tooth and Nail deck with a few toolbox combos to win. I guess it could use a Melira shell, but play more ramp and include Mikaeus and Triskelion?
with an army of mana dorks + Tamiyo to refuel + Primetime to be a big hauss, i can see it fitting into UG nicely; Emrakul could even be hardcasted in a deck like this.
Turboland is a fun archetype. Whip up a list? I'd like to see what you have in mind You could go RUG for bolts and to pump your Goyfs with instants, too.
Looks like a monogreen build of tron using tooth and nail, the only problem I see with a deck like this is that it lacks in very early power plays that exist in RG tron (t3: karn, multiple wurmcoils, mindslavers, all is dust) and the early protection in UW tron. I think boarding in some blue (or black) for some early game disruption would help give you the extra time to set up for T&N.
Now, the second list in the thread I found a bit more interesting. It's a GW build:
This looks like it could easily be changed to UG from GW. Cut the white walls (and other things for white), add some dig/counters and you should have something to start with.
