Hello, as you can probably tell I am pretty new to modern (I mostly play standard) and I am a fan of Goblin Bombardment and don't know the modern card pool all that well so I am posting here to see if there is a card in modern similar to Goblin Bombardment an equivalent if you will
The bigger problem is that you cannot recreate spells like Cabal Therapy or Carrion Feeder. There are other OK cheap sacrifice outlets (like Viscera Seer), but they're both weaker than Carrion Feeder (no mass +1/+1 counters really hurts) and not a zombie for gravecrawler. Cabal Therapy is just a huge part of how the deck beats control and combo in legacy, and Inquisition of Kozilek is not as good. Still, it is a pretty great deck, so the options are worth exploring.

I remember at least one person got a Top 8 at a PTQ with a Modern port of the deck (don't know the list though) so it obviously has some game in the format.

It was a friend of mine who played the deck, I dont remember the exact list but I know it included the following:
I swore that Levy played this deck at a GP or PT. It was basically the Dredgevine deck now, except it had Blasting Station in it and didn't try to aggro out with the Bushwacker. In fact, they did a deck tech, here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=X4JDUn53bmk
Go to my blog, Musings of the False God, for in-depth guides playing the game, from the building blocks of deck design to deceiving your opponent through clever game play!
You may also know me as the guy in the art of Dark Confidant. No, not Bob Maher, the OTHER one.
I'm also looking for a card like Goblin Bombardment for affinity.... I need a sac outlet. So far the best one I've come up with is Mortarpod which can be kind of inconvenient....
Question: does anyone actually know what the OP was going for with it? I mean, was this to build pebbles, or some kind of swarm deck, or persist/melira, or what?
And Heartless Summoning+Perilous myr is better, because then Muddle the Mixture alongside Plunge into Darkness as a singleton can get you any of the combo pieces. There's no good tutor for Enduring Renewal, Blasting Station, and 0-cost creatures. Trust me, I've looked.

He wants a deck like legacy Zombardment. The core of the deck are recurring 2 power beaters (gravecrawler and bloodghast), supplemented by lingering souls and disruption (tidehallow sculler, thoughtseize and cabal therapy). Goblin Bombardment in that deck allows you to abuse a LOT of interactions.
I've been playing a Zombie Blasting Station deck on and off in Modern Daily events since spring time. I've played BRG, BRW, and BR versions with BRG being the strongest, but BR having an advantage in being able to play Blood Moon. It is a lot of fun to play, but Deathrite and Abrupt Decay have both hurt the deck a bit.

It was a friend of mine who played the deck, I dont remember the exact list but I know it included the following:
Thoughtseize + Possibly Inquisition of Kozilek
Bob
Liliana
Lingering Souls
11 zombies (4 Gravecrawler 4 Diregraf 3 Messenger)
Bloodghast
Faithless Looting
I don't know what else was in the deck, but it would probably have either been targetted removal or Burn, with Burn being more likely.
