Hey guys. I'm currently brainstorming a deck idea which utilises Proclamation of Rebirth and this new card in the Gatecrash spoiler (don't click if you don't like spoilers):
Immortal Servitude X(B/W)(B/W)(B/W)
Sorcery
Return each creature with converted mana cost X from your graveyard to the battlefield.
My current idea for this strategy is to use cards which build up power as you get more and more of them out (exalted cards like Noble Heirarch, Champion of the Parish, etc), or to utilise the most efficient 1 drops Modern has to offer. I've also been thinking of using Aether Vial would be a good idea.
So, what I'm asking for is what 1 drops, in your opinion, are worth using in this format and if this idea has any sort of viability. I'm also all ears on other cards you'd think would go well with this strategy.
Use Hedron crab to mill yourself, play Orzhov Charm....what else....hmm I like this deck idea, it seems sweet....Probably play with Martyr of sands and/or some Soul Sisters....I know I'm gonna be playing Charm in Soul sisters for SURE

Maybe a self mill deck that runs lots of 0-1 drop artifacts, with Disciple of the Vault and Viscera Seer. [CARD]Hedron
Crab[/CARD] is a mill engine that can be recurred as well. I don't know how viable it is, but just spitballing.
It's no longer the flavor of the month, but back when Martyr-Proc was hot, using Proclamation for a mixture of Serra Ascendant(s) and Martyr of Sands was good enough. If you're heavy on the mana, Figure of Destiny is your dude. I was always partial to Student of Warfare too but he gets blocked too easily. The Student can be good in situations, and is a Human that helps your Champion of Parish.
Soul Warden for lots of lifegain when you reanimate everything?

You may also know me as the guy in the art of Dark Confidant. No, not Bob Maher, the OTHER one.
Maybe play 1-2 of this guy for an instant win?? Lol, this is actually terrible but could be an alternate win-con if needed. He might be a SB card with Unburial Rites..?

If you ignore the Human-tribal feature and just go for insane 1-drop aggro that has a backup plan for recursion (aggro can fizzle) here are my suggestions:
Goblin Guide
Kird Ape
Isamaru, Hound of Konda
Vampire Lacreator
Pulse Tracker
Gravecrawler
Diregraf Ghoul
Signal Pest
Vexing Devil
Deathrite Shaman
Elite Vanguard, Savannah Lions
If you're going for mass-recursion, something like Soul's Attendant, Soul Warden, or Essence Warden?

I play on Cockatrice, message me to play modern format.
URWBG
Also, black has Deathrite Shaman.
I like the Figure idea to eventually level him up. what about Reveillark for late game reccurance?
Kami of False Hope lock.
Death Cultist win.

Wizards in relation to modern.
"The bannings will continue until attendance improves."
Not sure if trolling or just very stupid.:fry:
4 Soul Warden
4 Essense Warden
4 Soul's Attendant
4 Serra Ascendant
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Dark Confidant
4 Orzhov Charm
4 Immortal Servitude
This leaves 4 slots open for whatever:
Removal - Path to Exile or Zealous Persecution
Extort - Thrull Parasite
Sweeper - Wrath of God/Damnation
Utility - Aether Vial / Proclamation of Rebirth
Dredge - Life from the Loam / Darkblast
More life gain - Deathgreeter
Generic Pump - Mikaeus, the Luminarch
crazy inevitability - Sleeper Agent seriously... think about it. EtB i gain life, opponent takes 2 each upkeep, they kill it i can reanimate it with orzhov charm or servitude/proc. 3 damage a turn to me means little when i can gain consistant life, 2 damage guaranteed to my opponent is a clock.
Sideboard options
Judge's Familiar vs affinity
Dryad Militant vs Storm
Just some random thoughts i've had
