I don't know much about the standard deck you speak of, but just based on the above, I would wager it wouldn't be the best idea to trade off Snapcasters.

I support WotC's goal of shaping Modern in favor of diversity.
I ran a thought experiment on my blog Modern in a Nuclear Wasteland
of an extreme case of banning 20 more cards to make sure they get everything, then scaling back where appropriate. WotC seems to be on a slowly build up approach. Both ways probably reach similar end points.
The post Gatecrash metagame is proving to be closer to the endpoint than I estimated, so its very possible that few (if any) more cards need to be banned.
It's a little unreliable. While there are totally good reanimation variants in modern, the ability to dump your library into the yard comes from dredge, which, unfortunately doesn't really interact at all with angel of glory's rise. In addition, GY hate is ridiculously strong in modern. Every single deck runs like 3 Relic of Progenitus in the SB, and Rest in Peace is also somewhat popular. Not to mention the fact that modern is just flat out fast. Dredge can work because cards like Stinkweed Imp protect you while still allowing you to yard dump, cards like Faithless Looting and Grisly Salvage will only yard dump, while you get slaughtered on the board.
Combo off with Huntmaster and Fiend Hunter (exiling a reanimated angel of glory rise) getting gobbled up by Cartel Aristocrat. rinse, repeat.
A similar list mills the opponent to 0 via Undercity Informer and Burning Tree Emissary

Fair Points, Mr. Burrito.I was hoping the SB gives Human Rites anti-anti-graveyard hate in the form of Abrupt Decay.
I am really unfamiliar with the modern format and am looking into getting into it competitively without hurting my budget for Standard.:-/
Guess I'm keping tiago, though I dont want to keep playing UW as it gets boring.
My advice is to trade off your standard staples for modern staples right before rotation rolls around. Cards like Huntmaster of the Fells will honestly see little play in modern, so trying to get them now is a bit of a waste of your time. The thing about modern is that it will never cycle, so just get rid of standard cards around late dragon's maze - early m14. If you want to learn more about the meta, grab a cheap deck (I recommend burn and bogle.dec without daybreak coronets, both are reliable and pretty cheap). Just ignore fetch lands and things like that, many decks can play reliably without them, you will just need to tweak the play style somewhat.

If i move to modern with the standard decklist and probably upgrade with the modern pool, would Human Rites be viable?
If so, what would you suggest I add/remove?
Thanks in advance, planeswalkers!
*Yes, you may let me know if this is a bad idea
