This is not how bans/unbans work. Its always the enabler that gets the ban, not the card that is being abused. If you would have Yawgmoths will + whatever cards - it would be Yawgs that would be banned. If you would have Stoneforge and batterskull - it would be stone who would be banned and that is exactly how it works. Furthermore, banning a card in order to unban a different card is a thought process that was and wont be never applied in practical means.

I'm not sure how tournament-level viable this deck can be, but it's certain competitive at FNM or local tournament levels. I've played against a Mono-Green Tron version packing Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Flame-kin Zealot as tutor targets for an entwined Tooth and Nail - that's pretty much game over on the spot (19 damage from the two hasty creatures and sac 6 permanents is very bad times). I've also seen Urabrask the Hidden used in the same capacity as the Zealot.

there was a combo decl (not too popular though) during Kami/Rav standard i even played. it was UR and used the Izzet Guildmage and Lava spike, splicing desperate ritual. anyone ever go big with that deck? i mean it was an infinite kill and i still have been trying to get it into modern.

It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.
the red mage lives by the variance and dies by the variance. May the variance be with you, always.

The latest Tooth and Nail deck I've seen uses Zealous Conscripts in the Zealot slot (abilities from coloured sources aren't coloured spells, so if O. Ring can nuke Emmy, Conscripts can kidnap her and grant her haste).
Kithkin really doesn't need much change, just throw in paths instead of unmake and possibly Vials its pretty much a decent modern deck. I feel it falls under the same category as elves and goblins where it either swarms early and stomps hard or it gets shredded by removal and discard.

Free spells and deck thinning is strong, I just don't know how it would do now.

Modern Turbo-fog is pretty playable against most decks if it can get going. Fun to pull in more casual circumstance.
