I've got 4 Aether Vial's and 4 Phantasmal Image's and want to know by other modern players experience (cause I'm new to modern and start with Gifts Control), which deck can I play with these cards.
You could run a Death&Taxes deck that splashes blue.
You could run an Eternal Command deck that runs Phantasmal Images.
You could run a UW control (the ones that run Sun Titan and various things to recur with him) and add in vials.

I support WotC's goal of shaping Modern in favor of diversity.
I ran a thought experiment on my blog Modern in a Nuclear Wasteland
of an extreme case of banning 20 more cards to make sure they get everything, then scaling back where appropriate. WotC seems to be on a slowly build up approach. Both ways probably reach similar end points.
The post Gatecrash metagame is proving to be closer to the endpoint than I estimated, so its very possible that few (if any) more cards need to be banned.
actually, if you were following the ptq season youd see that merfolk has been placing in several ptqs and has even won a few. Its by no means a 'rogue' deck anymore, but I don't believe its necessarily the best positioned deck either. Absolutely playable though, and youre in blue so thats always a plus.
It's literally the only deck where you would want four vials and four images maindeck. I wouldnt leave home without a full playset of both if I was throwin down the fishies.

Agree. In fact merfolk was suggested to me and I can trade for them easy.
Death & Taxes also caught my atention, I'll try one of those.
Thank you all for your answers.

I wanted to play Meddling Mage with some Gitaxian Probe, then copy it if needed, and stuff like this.
Maybe Serra Avenger's with Sun titan like a solar flare.
Suggestions are apreciated and also the deck doesn't have to be supercompetitive.

I don't always post about Rafiq of the Many, but when I do, I cardlink to the original artwork, and not the supplementary product version.
"I trust myself to do my duty, even unto death. It's what comes after that I'm afraid of."
"Just fight without fear. Your soul is protected by the hand of Avacyn and will never submit to evil."
Merfolk is a deck and they do often play this card. The deck isn't all that popular though, cause it's not the strongest deck by a decent margin.
Grixis Death's Shadow, Jund, UW Tron, Jeskai Control, Storm, Counters Company, Eldrazi Tron, Affinity, Living End, Infect, Merfolk, Dredge, Ad Nauseam, Amulet, Bogles, Eldrazi Tron, Mono U Tron, Lantern, Mardu Pyromancer
