I was so excited about watching it almost fizzle at the end of G3 (nothing against Conley, everything about watching Eggs fizzle), and was pretty disappointed when he found it off Visions with perfect mana to draw it.
He was on the play, right? He won G1, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't elect to be on the draw.
I didn't see the beginning of the match. I was watching him start a turn with 3 lands. Must have been the start of T4 then because I can't see that RG deck get him to 4 on T2.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

Pretty sure he had 3 blue lands, and dropped a Ghost Quarter for his 4th.
What do people mean this day's over? They're streaming Tron vs Dredge now...?
In any case, I'm CRINGING at this Tron player. The missed T2 Stirrings last game was SO bad; if he hit one of 8 Tron pieces in his top 5, he had T4 Stone-pop, and possibly the win. And he had various other misplays in the previous game.
I don't like to try and diss pros all the time, but it's been a string of several questionable plays.
I hope this GP brings some more people to modern by showcasing what a fun format it can be. There was a lot of variation on decks today.
Yeah, I knew the meta was pretty wide open on MTGO, but I was happy to see the sheer breadth of archetypes represented in paper. It's cool to see so many different decks, and so many different decks doing well. No matter what kind of deck you like playing, there's probably a deck of that type in Modern that you can do well with.

I guess you are right. They were playing replays before when It was on so I assumed it's over but I guess not. I do think they are on their last round now though.

Streaming eggs is not a good way to get people into the format...
Oh joy- I want to play this new format. Oh god. I have to play against t4 deck that I have to watch combo off for about 10 minutes.
I'm not sure why they even put it on the stream. It's cool to watch in a masochistic kind of way but it's not very interesting to actually watch the whole thing.

What's great is the variety that the field has. While a lot of people brought Junk (as seen in the really early games), apparently there are a ton of different archetypes all being represented. Excited for Day 2!
When do we get lists? any clue?? Its a nice Hurrah to end of prq season
You would like those huh? Since Kibler ended 9-0 with Domri Zoo.

They should feature him again. It will start about the time I get home tomorrow.

The funny thing is that I didn't even see Kibler there until about round 6. Then he was at Table 1 for a feature match.
I played GW Spaghetti Monster and was 6-1 before dropping my last 2 matches to miss day 2.

Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
Just came back from it after going 6-2-1 and barely missing day two on the back of some really loose play. So annoying.
There was a ton of junk and UWR being played. There were definitely a couple of sweet lists going into day two like Goryo's vengeance reanimator and kibler aggro list.

They probably though: "Hey, let's put Conley on the feature table, he always plays crazy decks. Oh, eggs.."
But besides that it's been very interesting to watch. I love Ajani Vengeant.

CFB did, but they only put 1(?) of those decks into day 2? Not all that impressed.

Not watching right now, but I'm surprised by that. I was expecting Huntmaster since he's the same cost and still a value creature.
Holy crap! Can't wait to see his deck list. Perhaps Domri will see a spike after that.

The deck was really cool. Lotus Cobras with Kessig Wolf Run searched for with Knight of the Reliquary was pretty potent in the game I saw.
