wizards will no do a banning based on speculative rumors, spread by player "hear say", which is all people seem to know or understand about griselbrand reanimator. the hear say: "thats the deck that wins on turn 2"

deathrite shaman clearly showed how format warping he could be all of last year with the rise of a new jund style deck, encouraged even further with a short lived popularity of scavenging ooze being introduced into the format.

The more I think about it the more I wonder why dread return is banned. It's a scary card, but can it win early more consistently than some other combo decks in the format?

I know dredge is feared, but would it actually be that oppressive in the current environment?

And deathrite shaman is fine. I don't understand why people get so hysterical about it.

It doesn't play like a game of magic and Wizards hates it. Even if its a meta deck, and all of the best hate cards for it exist in modern, its very unlikely it would ever be unbanned because WOTC has so much control over modern.

There's going to be no changes in modern. You guys are all serious optimists in expecting unbans. I doubt something gets unbanned for a long long time.

Its either going to be no changes or something nobody expects to happen, like some random unlimitation in vintage
