I've invested in a bit of these. I'm up to 20 counterflux, 10 RIP (1 foil), 7 cages and 4 orbs.
What do you guys think of these? Think any of these will go up in price soon?
Those are all very safe pickups. I'm guessing you paid about $1 for each of those. What can you lose?

What is your guys opinion on Foil Shockduals - especially Steam Vents and Hallowed Fountain?
With the growing interest in modern, shouldn't there be more people wanting to foil out their decks? This might be a safe call, or not?
I feel like currently Foil Shocks are way too low pricewise. Just looking at the sheer amount of Steam Vents beeing played and the "safety" given that Twin is a deck to stay and is unlikely to ever get banned, this seems a very good investment to me....

I highly expect some variation of Modern Death and Taxes / Hatebear to be relevant in the upcoming Modern season. The archetype can be adjusted to almost everything. I would not be surprised if Arbiter hits 3-5€/piece.
Anger of the Gods is too much of a recent printing, hard to spec on those. Also, when it leaves standard, the market will be flood with copies of those players who have a standard "pool" (which is very common in my area) plus its sideboard material. I have seen Jund playing 2 of it main, but that alone will not make it spike.
Nykthos will allways have a home in EDH/Commander and Highlander. If anything, i would consider this a long term spec.
Stony Silence is and will always be Sideboard material as a 1-2 off. Would not expect much of a rise.
Return to Ravnica has been opened A LOT, which affects affects Verdict - and it also has another printing PLUS most decks only need ~2 of it. Would not spec on it.
Keep in mind this is my perspective, and others are welcome to disagree in a productive way

I'm really surprised the RiPs, Cages, and Orbs are that cheap. They're all very solid sideboard cards and I expect to see more play. Especially Torpor Orb, it's good against all Pod and Twin lists, you literally can't go wrong with it.
I suspect everything else on your list stays about the same. Nykthos won't move, it's possible if someone brews something really sweet but the attempts so far are bad. Anger had a chance to shine, it won't move unless the format moves, or it rotates out of Standard in which it drops; the same applies for Verdict, it's now in competition with Anger. Melira has been around forever and doesn't get played in large numbers in the deck, it's fine where it is. Stony Silence I suspect sits where all your other sideboard cards do, especially since it wasn't popular in that set until it had Modern implications. Arbiter is in a deck nobody really plays.
I think Ooze is the one that will move the most, it's a good card and people like it. Depending on the time of day, it could be really popular or not at all.
Counterflux I picked up at $.50-1 each

Sounds good. I'm pretty sure all of those will go up. Rest in Peace seems like the best pickup and there's no way the FOILs will not go above $2.50.
Nykthos will go up some day because it's pretty good in mono color EDH decks. Anger has potential because it is the new Slagstorm/Firespout of choice because it's just better. I feel like Scavenging Ooze is seriously undervalued right now. With Deathrite Shaman gone, he is the go to Graveyard hate card for Modern, although he is limited to Green. I was able to pick up FOILs for around $20 a pop. Melira could go up because everything else in Pod has. I've wondered for the longest time why it hasn't gone up from my initial buy price during PR of $1 each. I figured it would at least get to $3-5. Stony Silence is great vs. Affinity and decent vs. Pod. The price point is so low that it surely will go up at some time. Admittedly I have sold my extra copies for around $1 because it seems to be taking quite a while to go up. Leonin Arbiter is my 2nd choice to go up after Ooze. I decided to buy a play set recently because it and Akroma was all I was missing for that deck. I was shocked to see that it had only gone up a dollar, from $2.50-3.50 a pop. A card that saw 0 (serious) play in Standard and is being played in Modern went up $1. Let that sink in for a moment. Now I am not one to usually enjoy Death and Taxes type decks, but that bolded sentence is a fact. Supreme Verdict will also go up some day, as it is the new Wrath of choice. I could see it at $8-10, but at long as it is in Standard, I doubt it will be played more often at any time other than meta shifts where Control comes out a bit stronger than normal. I think it will stay $5 during Standard.

I cannot figure out Flusterstorm. Part of me senses a reprint like Scavenging or Strix. The storm mechanic means we won't see it in M-whatever but I think it may come out in a special non-standard product or even a DD. Is its current price of $35 sneaky good (ie; it will continue to rise considerably) or crazy high? I am also unsure of this making the proverbial cut for MM2.

It isn't a Modern legal card, so it cannot make it into any Modern-related products.
I agree on RiP, that card is redonkulously under-priced. I think part of that comes from it being a universally SB only card, but it is one that is so damn effective. It is easy enough to hate, but in the mean time you have almost assuredly done damage to their tempo (assuming a grave based deck). Unless a really dominant (or popular) grave deck pops up I doubt you will see a spike, but it should grow if you are patient. I just looked and realized I only had one in paper, so I snatched up 3 at 1.45 ea. for my Modern binder. I don't see counterflux going up much because it is effective but pretty niche, and the artifacts are sort of the same.
On Shocklands:
I have a strong feeling that these are dictated by the T2 market at the moment. With modern in mind I think Steam Vents and Breeding Pool should be most expensive, but I found Sacred Foundry and Watery Grave to be the heavy hitters.
Anyway, as mentioned before, it is considered safe to buy into shocklands. I just wondered if I should value some of them higher than the others. I expect Steam Vents and Breeding pool not to drop after rotation and grow steadily, but I am afraid I should stay away from Sacred Foundry before it rotates.
Is this a reasonable decision or are Shocklands such great speculation targets that I should go for every single copy I can get at an acceptable price?
That's my plan. I intend to sink some money in long term investments that appear safe from price fluctuations or bannings (and maybe reprints in the near future). Any other suggestions apart from the lands?
What are everyone's thoughts on the FNM/foil version of Remand as well as the DCI Promo Path to Exile going forward? I picked up a playset of each online for less than TCG mid as I wanted to add a bit of character to a few of my decks and I'm able to offset a good chunk of the cost by selling my regular versions now. Will these types of cards continue to rise due to being less common, or were they printed in such large numbers that it really doesn't matter? Both have superior art going for them as well in my opinion.
How high are Snapcaster Mage, Restoration Angel, and Abrupt Decay likely to get? What are the chances of these cards spiking after GP Minneapolis?
I don't really have much to back up my guesses, but the following is what I'd expect these to reach and why:
Restoration Angel ($14-16): very close to what it was at just prior to rotation. A solid card choice, but not an auto include in the color white. The fact that it works so well with a few other key modern staples (snapcaster, kiki, anything with an enter the battlefield effect) will keep the price on this at least up in the mid teens I think. It also has the potential to go up further if we see more creatures with powerful ETB effects or tap abilities printed in the future.
Abrupt Decay ($15): By next year, I expect to see this card at or near $15. It's very solid, and everyone is realizing that the banning of DRS isn't the end of BGx decks. I think speculators will drive this card up further at some point, and barring a re-print it isn't likely to go down.
Snapcaster Mage ($50-60): I'm honestly surprised he hasn't gone up further already, and I see absolutely no reason why he won't end up in the Bob or Clique price range. Granted he was printed at rare, but both of the aforementioned cards were printed twice, in the case of Bob, he was even printed at rare first. I'd also argue that snapcaster sees more play than both of these cards as well. In my opinion it's just a matter of time until snap breaks the $50 mark, barring a re-print, which is not going to happen unless it's in a future MM or special product to keep it out of standard. Even if it sees a re-print in Modern Masters 2 (whenever that will be), my bet is that it will be at mythic.

If you want to use them this summer, buy them now. They will only go up as PTQ season starts.
If you can hold off until a probable reprint in MM2, whether that comes late this year or next year, then you should do so because that will definitely drive them down a little. But no one knows when that will be, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to buy now.
I think Goyf has peaked already, but I'm not positive. Does anyone see them going over 200? If you're selective you can pick him up for around 150 right now, and it's price seems to have dropped just slightly in the last few months. Honestly I don't have a good feel for this car though.
