...Okay, maybe not THAT much. Most of the decks already have ample access to the colors they're looking for. Where this really hits will be in the Modern player base. Now that everyone who played RTR has relatively easy access to both cheap shocks and fetches, we could easily see a massive player influx.
Allied fetchlands are definitely a bold move for modern, some decks can get powered by a more consistent manabase, if we also get decent cards in ktk in terms of power level, we could see a few new decks popping around. Atleast I hope so, definitely excited that esper might've gotten a boost atleast in the manabase.

Vintage nostalgic, WUB Fish control/aggro addicted.
Legacy:RUG Temur Delver
Modern: ??? undecided.
Just like in Legacy (see every single Thresh variant, then look at Jund), fetch bluffing will probably go through the roof in Modern. Now you can't tell whether they're on UR Twin or UWR Twin (or UWR Midrange/Control, or Blue Moon, or UR Delver, or UW Midrange/Control, or Possibility Storm Combo-Control) if all you see are Scalding Tarn, Flooded Strand, and Tiago.

So learn how to see into their soul and know. Thats what I do.
Legitly, Sometimes you can tell if they're a combo player from a smirk, control from stoic faces, and tempo from patience.
But your correct. Even big zoo looks like kiki pod now.
So I wasn't sure if I needed to start a new topic to ask this question but here it goes
So it will probably be a bit harder for Blood Moon to lock out enemies in games 2-3, do you guys think we'll need more nonbasic land hate to go with these new fetches?
I don't think 4 colour good stuff will too much of a problem... might see Ajundi again maybe some 4 colour gifts decks that will like access to a ton of fetches.
It is also good news for Blue moon as greedy mana bases is its prey.
I am going to need some delta's :S... I am hoping they will be around $10 like shocks so I can trade my rotating and not using shocks into fetches (although I was intending to trade them into other shocks has they droped at rotation).

WIZARDS PRINT REASONABLE NONBASIC LANDHATE?
WHAT IS IT 1997? DON'T YOU KNOW IT ISNT FUN?
In all seriousness I'm extremely skeptical. Wizards has toned back all landhate by a lot, regardless of if its nonbasic.

If you couldn't tell I hate greedy blue decks.
$10 Deltas... man, if only.
Lemme tell you, it's Polluted Delta. It cracks for an Island. If the initial price is that low, something wrong has happened to the card economy.
$20. $30, tops. It's only gonna get worse from there. Or maybe not, perhaps the Legacy crowd won't butt in since they'd hopefully long since obtained their playset.
But man, this is going to be insane.
Mind you, more on-color fetches for decks means more capacity for playing through Blood Moon. But it also opens the doors for Leonin Arbiter decks to really ruin games.
My guess. Its like shocks in standard, only theres less supply, same demand. REALLY depends on redemptions and drafting, more than box cracking. 15 if EVERYTHING goes right. Thats my guess.

As long as I can get them below $20 I will be happy.
Shocks aren't used in Legacy. Shocks also aren't used as 4x in Modern (most of the time that is).
Fetches, in Legacy and Modern, are nearly always 4x. I expect them as 4x in Standard as well.
I expected Fetches to be 15-20 due to the demand in three different formats.

Grixis and Esper may become real things because the mana fixing will be available. I suspect UW (not UWR) will see a big uptick in play as well.

I just found a shiny, wild, psychic-type lantern in a pokemon battle.
Getting Polluted Deltas.
I-it's not like I needed fetches past Arid Mesa or anything, Wizards...
But Zoo, Grixis and Esper contorls having better mana bases is great for those decks and I think will be good for modern.
It should open much more variety instead of just having Verdant catacombs Vs Scalding Tarn decks.
